Nintendo Switch OLED Glass Protector and Case

Do you guys own the switch qled got one for sons Xmas and looking to get possibly a case and screen protector for it.

I see Nintendo has there own edition case and a screen protector which ain’t glass I believe.

And there is a third party which seems to be harder to get but maybe was done prior to the newer Nintendo one.

Do you guys own this one.

Nintendo Switch OLED Bundle - Nylon Case + 9H Glass Screen Protector

And I see you can get the 9h glass protector on it’s own anyone own this glass protector if not what do they use.
Anyone own the case from that same bundle?

It seems the Nintendo case done by Nintendo gets good reviews but the screen projector is not glass.

  • nintendo what on the subject? wii?

    • Yes this was one I’m thinking of does not look like the case is as good as official case from Nintendo but screen protector is being glass

The screen protector on this alone is on special at bigw at $9 and obviously could get the set from jb with a perk for $15

  • I used this screen protector and it came with a frame to apply it, super nice: https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B09JG8V83Z/ref=ppx_yo_d…
As for my case, I went with Skull n Co, you can swap out the handles based on your preference.

    • Any links to skull and co case this is for qled model?

        • Bit pricey though and is this usa prices

          • @bwatt72: Yeah it is but if you play handheld as much as I do it's really great.
If you're just looking for any case or grips then you could find something cheaper.

Satisfye are the other popular brand and may be a little cheaper if you like the idea of Skull n Co's style.

            • @Wonderstache: This is an Xmas gift to my son going on 7 by time he gets it but will probably be shared with older sister of going on 10 and mum.
It’s more a protection thing if handled was away from base.
I think it might be used more tv use but who knows handheld I’m sure will be popular also.

From my experience the amFilm ones on Amazon seem to be the best for the Switch. For case I settled on the Mumba case.

    • What did you think of the mumba case? A few reviews say it does not fit in the dock that well what’s your thoughts? This might be a device that might be more in the dock than out but who knows it will be for a by time a 7 year old and I’m sure sister will use also.
But protection is key here with son dropping it etc and looks like this might be good.
I was thinking of the cases most places sell but they are more carry cases.
I would want it more to protect the device if used often as handheld mode.
But I’m sure reviews said had to remove it from case as does not fit into dock?

    • Dude, would you recommend the mumba case after 5+ months of use?

      • @Brakus I would still recommend it! Still berry happy with it.

        • How bad is the joycon drift issue? Has that happened to you? After reading a lot of reviews, I’m now more inclined to buy 3rd party controllers like the Hori split pad.

I went to a JB HiFi store with a switch on display and the drift was horrible. Considering that its only used when customers want to test it out, it seems like drift issue is only a matter of time

  • Looking at the amfilm it looks like it comes with frame so I take you can’t make errors on applying? What’s it made of? The frame it will not scratch the screen before you even get the protector one on?

Any links on the mumba case this is qled edition just incase of mix ups

    • What case did you end up getting? I’m on the same boat

  • Do you guys apply your own screen protector or take it to a phone shop and get it done by a pro? I always get air bubbles underneath

    • Glass ones are dead simple. Always do it myself.
