Still bit expensive for a hazelnut with Nutella

these things always have a short life span in my hands

    • +3

I try, I truly do, to make them last, but I keep getting packets for birthdays/Christmas/Easter, and they last a night, at most.

      • I freeze mine, solid… still has a short, lf somewhat cool end of life.

    • Anything short of “expiring as I walk out the door”.

  • BUY ALL THE FERRERO!

    • Good deal for Leclerc

but Ferrari wont let him pull into pit lane to eat them ;)

He can eat them during the warm up lap…

  • Chocolate never expires!

If it's Blackburn North shops you're talking about, a Coles opened there about a month or 2 ago.

    Broden!

    • R.I.P.

      • Though a mars bar would be better

  • Thanks OP!

These could expire in 3 seconds and I'd still have no worries eating the whole display before it passed the date.

These are my single biggest weakness.

  • Will look out for them in my local store… spotted these at $1 last week but passed when noticed they were short dated. Happy to have a few at a further half price :)

  • Is this Blackburn North

    • yes

      • Where in the store is it? Probably sold out. I could only see 16pk for 3.50, bought a couple anyway

It's just Best Before ( as opposed to Use By) dates for confectionery anyway. No issues consuming them past those dates.

Sorry for being a party pooper but I genuinely find Ferrero Rocher overhyped (and overpriced!). The chocolate on the outside is rather average, the one on the inside is even more “meh” and nuts… are just nuts.

    Change my mind.

    • how can we change your mind if your tastebuds are telling you that you don't like it?

Sorry I have better things to do.

When i was a kid and we were a one-income family with little "luxuries" , I would make my Easter egg chocolates last till the next Easter.. chocolate NEVER goes off!

    • +1

Frankly you were better off going to the chocolate outlet stores, after Easter, and getting the broken Easter Egg chocolate. It is a bit "Chateau de Chasellas" but I was one of five kids and my parents used to get a box of the broken Easter egg chocolate and and, each night, weigh out an even portion for each of the five kids.

Expired Ferrero Rocher is not nice.

  • All gone anyway

  • Where is Blackburn? Lancashire?

    • Yeah naah naah Australia mate

  • State in title pls…vic?

    • +2

      State of utter bliss! 🤤

      • Oh wow…how did i miss it ahah

  • In the centre still crunchy lol?

  • The sell by date doesn’t matter. They wouldn’t even make it back to my house. I’d snort them all on the car journey home.

  • I wonder how much you could send through postage.

It probably would still come out cheaper lol.

Anyone got connections in or near that store lol.
