Or I can use CBA's spend $1000 get $200 back.
I'm on eBay Plus but it's a non-store seller so not many coupons I can use. That I know of.

Be Extremally careful.
If you do any returns.
You'll be stuck with $1K worth of Gift cards.
You need to be really really sure of what you buying is not ever going to be needing to be returned (not even like warranty purposes to the seller on eBay). If ever at slightest of doubt BUY DIRECTLY USING YOUR Credit CARD which would come with extended warranty etc, or in some cases even like total loss of item (covered by insurance) like perks.
3% of $1000 is only $30, so Think again is $30 saving worth it to loose your chances of getting refunded straight into Bank Credit Card (for me $30 wont be enough).

But let's say I do a return and ebay gives me back $1000. Does that mean I have to use all $1000 on the next purchase or forfeit the rest? Or can I use the amount gradually over multiple transactions
@AusBargains: With eBay you get same amount back in Gift cards, so if you used 5 x $200, and refunded $1000 exactly
Then you will get 5x $200 in gift cards. aka you wont be getting a combined $1000 Gift card at refund.
You can use your GC amount gradually over multiple transactions.

CBA deal sounds to be more than you'd get with any other available deals.
