  • Before someone says it is cheaper on ebay, those are counterfeit (but saying that they are 99% the same, you need to know your stuff to tell the difference).

    • Oh I have one of the fakes, and you can tell the difference by the packaging alone. But for everything else it’s passable.

$40 to $60 is a good price range for decent boards games and is a way cheaper than my purchases that go in the $100+++ range.

    • +1

Tell that to my KDM all in.

If your getting into board game, this isn't the place to start really. Pandemic @ $40 from Coles is.

        ?

Ticket to ride is an excellent easily accessible gateway game.

        • -1

I think it's too accessible, It's basically a very very slow version of snap.

          • @Nalar: If that is the case, you're playing at least one of Ticket to Ride or Snap wrong.

    • +4

If you're not getting into board games why bother replying to something you clearly have no experience with. $40 to $60 is lower than average for the vast majority of decent board games.

    • harsh downvotes, something like Kingdomo or one of the smaller versions of Ticket to Ride would be just as good places to start and they are significantly cheaper than this.

    • lol I just spent $275 on expansions to a board game… (Star Wars Imperial Assault - in my defence, it was a 50% off EOFY sale!)

      I need help.

      • Help playing? :D
