          The controls work the same as they do when playing with the default screen orientation.

                  @boxall: I'd suggest getting a Flip Grip if you want to play vertical mode in handheld mode.

          1941 Counter Attack is decent but if you want similar style but a different game Varth Operation Thunderstorm is a good alternative.

    Grabbed 4 shooters….Giga Wing, Progear, 1944 and 19xx. Not sure why as I can play them everywhere, but having them on a nice portable 7" screen made some sense.
