    aka the "finger killer"

    • +6

Yeah, my left thumb is about 1mm shorter than it used to be!

      • +4

Yep same left thumb though where cut is has grown back strange with no feelings!

        • +4

          No hard feelings,

        • +2

tip of my index flew into the sink trying to saw off a piece of frozen stock horizontally…

    • +1

lol cut 1/4 of finger nail off with these too. haha. grew back alright but bled for about two hours.

    • +1

I actually have a cut on my finger right now from one of these - albeit the lethal red handled version.
The bastard was so sharp I felt the cut, couldn't see it for a few seconds - until the blood came.

    • Yep my wife banned me from using these after several booboos. Incredibly sharp!

  • +2

Pink, orange and black also $7.

    • +4

The pink one is for cutting your pinkies off.

    • +1

Can add white to that, shows up the blood better haha.

    • the minimum order qty for those is 2 though while you can pick a single green one… one is enough to cut all fingers…

WARNING - This Knife is Sharp. I repeat, its very SHARP!

Tough Strip Band Aids are also on sale.

    https://www.amazon.com.au/PK40-Bandaid-Tough-Strips-BE/dp/B0…

$4.30 for a 40 Pack is pretty good and should do you for the first month at least. (Chemist Warehouse sell them for $5.69)

  • +5

      • +1

The blue is $39.95 and drops to $29.95 with AFTERPAY10

        • +1

AFTERPAY10 code is super old, everyone has used it by now surely.

      • AFTERPAY10 to get $10 of

    • used code APLUSR4QWP78M7M. Got it for $29.95. Thank you.

      • APLUSR4QWP78M7M no workey for me!

  • The Kaimano Inox Italian knives are every bit as good as these and cheaper(I've had mine for going on 6 years now and still sharp enough to slice your finger clean off if you slip). .

You can usually find the 6pc pack for sub $20 at any local Italian fruit and veg store (At least in SA)

  • grazie mille

    Tomatoes come at me

    • Tomatoes: I'm c*ming! Where u at bro?!

  • Where's the link to the black one? When I click the link on this deal and choose the black colour, it doesn't come in 1 pack and different price.

  • black had a minimum order of two when I clicked

    • +9

FYI you won't be able to go back

  • I liked them when they were free on eBay before the garbage sales started!

  • Still hanging for the blue one!!

  • +1

Any ozbargain favourites for a wooden handle steak knife?

  • -2

since when did we have a tomato knife?

  • +2

Anyone found any knives that don't get rust spots in the dishwasher. All our knives have this happen to them unfortunately.

    • +2

Probably why you're supposed to wash all kitchen knives by hand.

    • if you can't be bothered drying them straight away, try get knives with a lower carbon / higher chromium content, but it does mean they will go blunt faster.

      • I've never had my knives go blunt, at least not before they are ruined by the rust stains.

I mean I could wash the knives by hand, but I'd prefer to get some that can go into the dishwasher like everything else.

        • Yep, which means you have higher carbon ones, therefore, they rust more easily.

        • +5

No good knives are dishwasher safe.

          • +2

@Wardaddy: 100% agree on this. Good knives have no place in dishwashers.

Victorinox is about as close to that edge (pardon the pun) as you can get. Anything better will be more rusty, and anything less rusty will be a noticeably worse knife.

There's a reason every commercial kitchen is stacked with Victorinox knives: they are pretty 'ok' at just about everything, and for a price that is cheap.

    • These don't get them for me

  • +3

bought 1, already cut my finger

  • Man I love these knives
    Yay 2 more! Thanks OP

    • We love the knives but it cost a lot more for buying matching forks though…

      • Oh who cares about matching. I only use them to cut tomatoes. I guess good for steak too but matching is overrated :)

        • +1

Just shocked at how pricey the forks are compared these quality knives!

        • We use these for pretty much everything - the old blunter ones are part of the table setting, the new ones do 80% of the kitchen meal prep.

  • +1

    Did someone copywrite "Serrated"?

  • Giving these a go. Amazon reviews gave me a good laugh!

  • High quality knife for getting rid of those people you hate

  • bought a set of these about 25 years ago at the king of knives store for my family. The convincing reason I bought it is because I cut my finger with it at the store. Has gone blunt now but we still use it to cut our steaks.

  • Are these good enough to replace your regular pairing knife or anyone with any good recommendations?

  • +2

I was cleaning a brand new one with water using my fingers and the back of the knife sliced my finger open slightly. Can't trust either side.

  • +2

Can you all please stop buying these. Been a mainstay of mine for 20+ years, and $5.95 is the price I’m accustomed to paying. Your cherishing of these essential tools is pushing the price beyond us lowly galley servants.

  • +1

    FORKS ! !

All these knives of varied colours, and I have no forks !

  • Yep same, a waiting day matching forks are on sale. Not at double the price of their knives!

  • +2

wtf is wrong with people here cutting their fingers…

    • +1

Buy the knife, use the knife, cut your finger.

    • I used to be the same, then it happened. So sharp.

  • PSA available on EBAY every day of the year cheaper than this. LOL at the upvotes.
