  • Isn't there a different dock that washes the mopping pad?

  • Good deal. I bought the s7 standalone for $900

  • I have an uneven natural stone floor, does anyone know if any robot Vac will actually work on this type of uneven floor? Thanks

    • Forget about it. Uneven floor is a hell for robot vacuum

  • I saw another Roborock S7 as Prime day deal for $959 however the Seller is "Roborock AU Official". Has anyone bought from this seller in the past ? Only one review (which is positive). Thanks

They're the official store in Australia so they can't be that bad.

      • +3

I thought so too though after contacting Roborock Australia support team they clarified their Amazon seller name is "Roborock Australia" , not "Roborock AU Official". Now I am hesitant to go for it.

        • Nice catch, I didn't notice the difference until it was too late. I'll roll the dice and see what ends up arriving.

          • @Kewldood99: I think you should be OK. Its just the warranty will not be covered by Roborock Australia if something goes wrong and you might have to contact the seller for warranty issues. Though if its a genuine product there should not be any issues with it given the reputation of Roborock. I hope all goes well for you.

        • I think your right… i bought one and i see there is a roborock Australia store on amazon, and it looks more official then "roborock au offical" store front. Unfortunately i see there are lots of "international versions" on the roborock AU official store as well :(

          • @chromesphere: hey mate, just curious if you received Australian version . I missed it for the warranty concern though price was very good. I am curious if the seller sent a good product . I have a feeling this seller might have more sales in future ( e.g. Black Friday) , I might go for it then if I hear good reviews about the seller. Thanks in advance !

  • I tried to post this deal before 6am. It said no deals from Amazon Asia allow. Thank you OP. I'm glad someone got it on here. It's a great bargain

As someone has pointed out, despite the name being "roborock AU official" this looks like its not roborocks official store.

im concerned it will be an international model, can anyone confirm what the model number should be?

EDIT: i see there might not be any difference with the model, possibly just warranty issues

Edit again for anyone playing along at home. I asked roborock, this was there response. i assume because the mobile application is region locked, and the power adapter would be different, this would mean they must be the australian version

There are Global and International models of the Roborock devices.
The Australian version of Roborock differs from the international version when it comes to its power cord. It is also important to consider that the application of the international device won't work as they are region locked.
Hence, the international ones would not be covered by the Roborock Australia nor by the Australia warranty - you may reach out to Amazon to inquire about their warranty and services in this case.

    • Thanks @chromesphere. I'm concerned about receiving an international version too! I'll check the power adapter when it arrives, if its wrong I'll be sending it back.

      • Yeah me too. I have a feeling its not though. They only list 1 other product as "international version" the rest dont specify.
They also say in their Q&A section "comes with australian plug". In which case, assuming they are not talking about an adapter, you would have to assume its an Australian version!
But, this is amazon, so anything is possible. haha

    • Managed to get the deal, but i think everyone's on the money here….pretty sure it's the international version and not the aussie version, as it seems it comes with a dust bag empty dock, and not the bagless dock?

      • So i actually bought the s7maxv (from the same seller). I asked them on amazon and this is the reply. so dont give up hope :)

        Question:is this an australian versions?
        Answer:Yes

  • was this a price error from amazon? have been waiting for restock but price has gone up.

    • I don't think its a pricing error but as Unique1234 pointed out the "Roborock AU Official" seller on Amazon is not the official store. There is a good chance you won't be able to go through Roborock Australia for warranties.

      • I think this is only the case if you have bought an international version. if its an australian version the warranty shouldnt be a problem. Which, from what roborock said, this should be an australian version, otherwise it wont work as its region locked…aparently.

        • Fingers crossed we get the AU version then! I'm in WA so I'll be waiting a while for mine to get here.

Thanks got one! Mainly wanted the auto empty.
The incremental upgrades of the S7 Max Ultra don't seem worth it in comparison when its twice as expensive!

      • +1

yeah it was hard decide for me between this and Q7max for $699

        • I am also on the fence, which did you choose?

          • @lemonever: I am gonna wait for s7 cheaper price. Cant justify 1125 for s7 with bin.

    • Thanks, just jumped on it as well, was umming all yesterday and it sold out.

  • It's showing sold by HK Cocoon International as in this screenshot. Does anyone see this too?

    • I didn't see it personally but someone else saw it on the S7 MaxV post

  • Oof I was sad I jumped on the ecovacs T8+ deal but the excellent pickup on the seller makes me less sad.

  • It's back in stock:

Looks like someone received it already, and it's the bagless version :)

    From their Amazon:
    Pros
Auto empty bin I got is both bag and bagless compatible. It is the bagless canister but comes with the adaptor for attaching the bag as well. So this is a Win Win.
Cleaner pickup of debris than other robots I've used
Perfect emptying each time, no clogs.
Map was created perfectly, no app map issues like Ecovacs
Main brush is fully rubberized so minimal tangles
Can Vaccum and mop the same time! Mop rises on carpets (low pile)
Slow but pick up is much effective

I received mine on Saturday. It's both bag and bag less.

  • any chance amazon put this on sale again anytime soon?
