    • Yeah, these things are often not safe with exposed live pins and no ground.

    • thanks for flagging this concern - I can check the safety qualifications once it arrives. FWIW, the post says "The unsafe travel adaptor has two exposed pins designed for the United Kingdom which remain live at 240 Volts unless the user knows to, or remembers, to lock them into the recessed position." and I think I can know/remember to put pins away when not in use!

    Just used this overseas and worked well. Only thing to note is that it doesn't hold a lot of weight, so when my MacBook charger was plugged in it pulled it out of the wall (fixed by propping it up on something) (note my MacBook has

    • This. I have this and experienced the same, no weight to hold my small wall charger.

    • I travelled to Europe recently, and found an adapter (similar to this one) plus the Baseus GaN3 to be a fantastic combination. It gives you some high powered USB charging for phones/tablets, plus two Australian AC sockets for laptops.

    I think it's better to buy an individual adapter and carry what you need.
    This bulky adapter might not fit in a small area or hold its own weight - some wall socket are too loose.
    People will hate you to plug it on a small power board.

    • True. I had this but hardly used it. Instead bought couple of local adaptors and that’s a lot cheaper and better.
