  Fun for a couple hours DIY, but the sound quality is terrible.
  
  This is coming from a guy who finds that there's no practical difference between $50 and $5000 amps, and wanted to see how far this scaling goes… apparently ~$20 is the limit. Also goes to show that implementation can be more important than the chip itself… the TPA3116D2 can be found in some decent budget amps.

The levitation kit is cheaper delivered from AE. With ICStation's version you need to supply your own power supply.
