    Good price, underrated tablet imo

  • never mind

    • Never mind my response

  • Not the latest and greatest any more, but a cool idea for a tablet, regardless. Might have been interested if I didn't buy a TF Prime a few months ago.

Rep, you should disclose that there is a delivery surcharge of $25 for delivery to rural areas. That is pretty steep and takes it up closer to 400.

    • Right, thanks for the mod helped to updat the rural area charge information.

I still havnt got my refund yet for the 32gig micro SD card from this mob….. wouldnt deal with em if i were you all… there warranty and refunds suck.
There will be NO warranty by Asus in Australia beacause its a Grey Import so youll have to send it back to them ….lol and good luck with that

    • I thought Asus had global warranty?

    • Hi SupaRooter

As I told you in message, your payment was hold by PayPal with your own request. Please contact us ASAP, we might able to help to solve it out PayPal together.

The ASUS tablet comes with Global warranty service and clearly stated the warranty service center in Australia on the warranty terms. If buyer got problem with warranty support, he can choose to get the official warranty service via our support team.

  • the warranty should be a global warranty. so you can have it fixed here under warranty

it appears the price has dropped to $329.95 + $38.95 deliver to melbourne metro . Not a bad deal. The only thing to point out that it is old tech, it's only 16gb and there have been similarly priced deals for the 32gb Asus transformer (with dock) which in my opinion is a significantly better tablet.

    • In terms of CPU and Screen, both Transformer and Slider are the same

      for the Weight

EeePad Transformer with Docking: 1270g (680g without dock)
      EeePad Slider: 960g

  • have tested this in store.
I don't mind the thickness of the tablet
but it feels heavy when holding with 1 hand.
they keyboard is tiny but I think I can get use to it.
