Cheapest price we have ever seen. This watch stands between the activity tracker and a full fledged smart watch but considering the price and alternatives, it seems like a good deal.

My other option was soundspeats ($36) which was the chepest but screen was LCD and watch face options were limited to 5. Another alternative was amazfit bip series but their display are smaller and they are usually priced at ($130-170).

I was really impressed by 1.64 inch AMOLED screen - 10 days batter life. The build looks solid and it weights only 21 GM's which makes it easier to wear overnight.

    I have had one of these for about a year and would recommend. Great battery, good enough notifications, reasonably accurate fitness and sleep tracking. Would definitely recommend. Watch Fit 2 models are now out, but not sure if the price difference warrants the upgrade.

      What happend after a year, it died?

      The Watch fit 2 is $277 and 2 most notable features are NFC and calling option. Apparently, NFC is not supported outside china and calling from watch may not appeal to everyone so I would say yes, i wouldn't go for a newer version with such a steep price difference.

      Does it have a vibrate function for notifications? Specifically looking from something to link up with my phone for when I'm on call that can vibrate when I get an alert.

        You don't really need a smart watch if that is all you want. The cheapest MiBand does it nicely and you get decent battery life.

        I swim with it on all the time. Also wear it in hot spa with no issues at all.

    I am not happy with the Amazfit that I bought in the recent deal from mobileciti. Step counting is not accurate and it keeps tell me that HR of 70 is high..I guess you get what you pay for..

      Owned both Amazfit(T-REX) and Huawei (GT 2 Pro) watches and found Amazfit step counter to be more realistic than Huawei one…. Huawei keeps clocking ghost steps similar to other bands (Xiaomi and honor) that I owned. On the plus side these would keep you happy with minimal effort.
      On the other side Huawei health app is painfull to register…. Not sure why these watch apps require registration at all…

        It gives you sleep score every night and your deep sleep hours. Pretty good I reckon.

          Awesome that’s perfect! Does anyone know if there is any other smart watch that’s most accurate? I heard Apple Watch is the king, but it’s 7x the price for the newest hahah

                @Bisah1342: Not king of data. Siri was 1st to come out & now last in capability because of lack of data. Google assistant is way better.
                Samsung watches are as good & better value/battery. If you don't use all the features, as most of them are supported by the phone, then you pay for short lifespan as the new watches will be better than old Apple watches. In battery Apple watch is pathetic if it cannot track sleep before recharging.
                I'm happy with Amazfit 5 & usually upgrade /2yrs (included in cheap price) & lasts weeks, not hours.

      Do music playback controls work? Skipping songs, play pause etc.. specifically with spotify/tidal?

        Android has media playback control, volume adjust and skipping songs forwards and back, playing and pause. It works well.

        iOS does not feature media control.

          Sounds like if you think a standalone GPS is worth $40~ then buy the Watch Fit, if not seems like the band would suffice?
