I would like to know that too, was originally planning on buying the QN90B or QN95B but this price for an 8k seemed too good to miss.
Reviews for QN800B looks good, much better than last year model.

Perhaps the silliest question this year but does this mean I can play their games without the actual xbox console (asking for a friend who is in along term relationship with the playstation and looking to spice things up without her knowing)

Yes, you won't need the XBOX console, you'll only need the app installed on the tv and XBOX game pass.

Not much from their compare page, only the HDR, OTS and refresh rate looks different (120hz on QN85B and 144hz on QN90B)

Also the 85 is an IPS panel vs VA on the 90.
I missed the deal on bing lee last few days :( QN90B 85 inch only $4717 with an extra 10% gift card , if we add the soundbar together can get another $ 900 cashback. I was on the payment page and unable to pay then refesh and all the price increase back to normal price.
