I used to really like COS back in ~2017-18, i felt the mens section just continued to worsen from then. I'm not sure about the online store, but the physical stores in melbourne have a shockingly small section for menswear compared to female (especially the one in Emporium being given a little corner).
That said, I found the sizing a touch on the awkward side for myself. It might work better if you're a bit on the skinnier/leaner side though. I'd definitely recommend trying things on.
I do like their basic Tees and still have a few from 2017 that have held up with a lot of wear, but now that there's the uniqlo J+ shirts ( i think it is), i find them to be just as good for cheaper.
They used to sell nice basic minimalist stuff then I noticed now they keep on stocking oversized fits with weird colours and designs
As someone who is on the taller skinnier side, I find Cos is my go to for basic Outerwear. I was initially wary due to them potentially just being pricey H&M, but the garments I own from them have all lasted with heavy use, and really been worth the generally 30% more than the equivalent type of garment at say Uniqlo price difference.

Almost all of their pants are relaxed fit. I will say their basic tees are pricey, but seem to be well made, I typically go Uniqlo for that stuff.
I get the argument on oversized, but that still isn't that much of their range.
At 190cm and sub 60kg, they are one of the few stores I can walk into and without spending obscene amounts of money, get quality garments that actually fit me.
Thanks to OP, I have been checking the Emporium store throughout the sale as I work around the corner and some of the items I wanted weren't in my size in store but were on the website.

Picked up a few items, really liked some of the wool jackets, although agree with the above comments about the plain tshirts and jeans being overpriced.
