Big W Winston Hills NSW are clearing out 90% of their DVD and Blue Ray Collection. Everything on clearance is $1 dollar. Included box sets. I got Californication for $1. Unsure if this is nationwide. Looks like Big W are moving away from DVD and Blue Ray Discs.

Just 9 black tubs at the front of the store with people swarming over them. Had a quick look didn't see any box sets just older movies like Rambo first blood. LOL. I wonder how that would look on a 4K TV.

PLENTY of sections have clearance tables for kids and women's clothes other stuff dotted around the store.

Just give the $1 omicron DVDs a miss. People are animals. LOL

A decade and a half (and change) later, still people don't know how to write BluRay.

I'm not even being a dick, I could care less and (obviously) know what you mean, it's not a comment on your spelling of it. Just a stupid naming choice really.

    • I understand but it's a stupid name anyway.

      • Well, it supposedly has to do with the blue lasers (or lazers, if I'm having a go at spelling things) that the disc uses, which like, I get it. But (profanity), call it Blue Ray then. Only gets weirder when it's officially shortened to BD meaning the ray is part of the first word, which I guess makes sense thinking about it, since I've only ever seen it with the R in lower case, so then is it Blu-ray or Bluray, then it just looks like a kinder kid trying to spell blurry for the first time.

        Stupid ass name.

        • Yeah

  • OK,but "Bulllit" is better on BluRay….so there.
