      Those were at least foil wrapped, which is more recyclable than plastic wrap.
      Also, who ever stops at just one mentos? The mini 5 packs posted last week are a better deal.

        Even worse, aluminium is excessively wasteful with Carbon intensive production and recycling.

        You're touting one over packaged, but whinging about another, I smell a rat.

        Personally, I'm not a tree hugger, but I really dislike waste, so I buy big bags (lollies, chips,.bickies, etc). And decant into small bags. I'm with you on the waste, but don't be a hypocrite..if you are in marketing, create a seperate OzB account.

        These mentos are good for lolly jars at service counters, for placement on pillows, etc.

        Of course if you want to have a pack or half then it's better to get a roll. But your whinge doesn't take into account plenty of valid use cases.

    Almost finished mine bought from May, will never buy it again, as the kids don't like it, and I have to eat the 200 candy by myself, definitely not good for the teeth and diabetes. Plus the 200 small plastic package.
