I disagree, menulog usually have lower delivery charges and more specials ie: buy 6 and get 1 free
The delivery charges on DeliveryHero are set by the restaurant.
This one is the real deal. Why no one posted it?
Just don't try to exploit a price error through delivery hero, they and the restaurant call until they contact you
To be fair, we don't know where this code comes from - it's not posted by the menulog rep, and there aren't the usual conditions like "limited number available" and expiry date. If people start posting comments saying that the voucher isn't working any more, then that'd be a good time to start negging :-)
Long time lurker that finally registered just to mention how rubbish menulog actually is…
Have ordered through them before and had the following experience:
- orders took 2 hours to get through to the restaurant - great when you are picking up and they have no idea about your order from 45 minutes ago! Happened twice now at different restaurants - hope you enjoy waiting in a restaurant while they call menulog support to figure out what happened.
- their website code embedded in the webpages of restaurants online - code that simply doesn't work, will not add items to the cart, etc - gave up, ended up calling
- the above linked issues with discount codesWe've actually told our local Thai place (there are 3 within 5 minutes) that we won't order from them while they insist on having menulog as their order mechanism, it's just not worth the hassle.
As for any savings - if you're picking up, a lot of restaurants give you a 10% discount anyway - more than you'd get ordering from the rubbish menulog system in the first place!
Avoid at all costs IMHO.
Your just in a bad area, menulog is great for restaurants in glen waverley, always get acknowledgement of order within 5m and delivered within the hour.
That said, there are usually better first order deals directly with the restaurant through menulog
