Absolutely right. Don't expect anything from these "Mystery boxes", just a way for these companies to get rid of extra stock. There isn't a store out there that would sell something for less than what you get.
As someone who has made these boxes for work, value is bs. eg. Spend $100, get $50 off voucher, that counts as $50 vaule right there.
Yeah usually for cosmetic company’s mystery boxes they throw in a bunch of rubbish. but this company, it’s just the products that they sell at full price, maybe it’s end of line fragrance ? i’m not sure.
They’re getting rid of products with old packaging.
A Mystery box isn't a bargain.
Just keep in mind that they have to make a profit on that 'Mystery box' shipped to your location so I very much doubt the contents will be worth it.

It's a mystery if this is a bargain or not.
The bars of soap (think green) sell for $22 ea and the solid conditioners soaps etc $25 ea…so you get the idea.
The claim each soap is worth 3 normal bottles of hand soap/shampoo based on a 70% water content they are trying to save you wasting your money on and the plastic bottle it comes in.
Your choice and palm oil free products.So could be two bars of soap for $20. Hmm…

Same deal in New Zealand so could potentially be similar products in the box (every small or large mystery box gets the same stuff here).
And a few of us got an extra $30-$100 to spend thanks to the referral system.

Looks like the small pack contains full size shampoo, small conditioner, full size deodorant and a soap saver bag.
Large pack seems like it has two full size shampoo, a full size conditioner, shower container, lip balm, and a small shower cream.

Thanks @chakel I went through OzBargain’s random referral and only paid $16 for a small bar + a small mystery box which hopefully contains what @Wakrak posted above.
I’ve wanted to try out the Ethique products for a while as I quite like using good quality shampoo bars and minimising excess plastic is a great goal.
Great products - normally all their products sell at about $22 at Priceline. Already excellent value and no plastic.
The only reason I'm not buying is because I have them already and they last such a long time.
$20 for something THEY is worth $45. I never trust any of these 'Mystery box' deals.
Seems like marketing term for them to just throw in a bunch of slow moving/unwanted stock.
