A great price, but I wouldn’t recommend buying a bottle unless you know you like it!
I wouldn't recommend buying less than two bottles even when you don't know it!
Had some Ardbeg the other day and realised how much I remembered the flavours of this and similar.
Ardbeg, Laphroaig and to a lesser (smokey) extent Talisker are my favorite smokey single malts.
Have you tried Caol ila 12 or Port Charlotte 10? They are just a step above imo.
Very much an acquired taste.
I'd start elsewhere (even within the Laphroaig range) - this one will possibly cure COVID, and not in a good way!
Don't try Laphroaig Quarter Cask then. Laphroaig 10 is mild in comparison!
And if you like it, buy Quarter Cask. It's much better than 10!
Triple wood or PX cask is even better imo if you can find them.

I've had the Triple Wood, but prefer QC. When my current bottle is finished, I'll be cracking open Laphroaig 10 Sherry Oak Finish. Can't wait!
Was a Laphroaig fan all through. Wiarter cask was my go to. Tried the Lagavulin 16 and cant see myself going to Laphroaig again!
Have tried ardbeg, talisker, caol ila, smokehead, ailsa bay, lagavulin 8 as well. Everything pales in my opinion

@gav23: yeah it used to be pretty firmly around 160 a bottle, but it does looks like it's solidly gone up. still great value imo.
