Some details & specs in Deal Description would be better than useless words to make it up to 10 word min!

@INFIDEL: Mate the mods are paid I'm not. I don't have all day to write an essay description for your convenience.

Also there's an easy solution. Click the hide button above then select hide deals from silenthillrocks. Problem solved.

                Are they?
Lol! Not you're not calling me "your highness" any more😥

I don't have all day to write an essay description for your convenience.

Lol! Seems you took most of day (across 9 hours) to write "an essay" on why your short Deal Description didn't need any change😄

                Your Deal Description:
Desktop usb charger by Anker 30% off at Amazon dot com dot au

                Mod's (current) Deal Description:

Lol! A whole 5 useful words longer!
Not exactly "an essay" - is it?

Probably 5 years old model. Don't waste your money.

Can you point to a better charger for similar price from a reputable manufacturer?

I have been following chargers closely for a while, and honestly don’t know anything significantly better. Happy to be proven wrong…

This one is cheap only because the USB C is only 30W Max.
It may be enough for phones or batteries, but for laptops, you will need at least 45W for slow charging, or 65W for regular speed charging. Therefore this model is not future proofing at all.

        I bought the Samsung one.

this one is cheap but not sure about quality

          https://www.amazon.com.au/HEYMIX-Charging-Station-Charger-Co…

          • @botchie: From reviews of other Heymix products, there are reports of catastrophic failure with scorch marks, overheating, difficulty inserting USB due to quality, smoke, DOA, and failure soon after purchase. Other Heymix multiport chargers have low reviews - scoring under 4/5.

Don't buy Heymix. Though, if you have to, at a very minimum wait until the product has a higher quantity of reviews.

https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/714888 this one but it's out of stock after being on sale this week.
I think this is one https://www.amazon.com.au/Anker-Charger-4-Port-MacBook-Lapto… is a newer version of the one on sale in this listing

The slim one is only 45W max for a single port, which is slow for laptop. I would prefer something at least 65W.

if you don't need the USB-C port there is the Blitzwolf 6 port one that was recently on special:

I grabbed one the other day as it fits my purpose of being a bedside USB hub charger. Arrived on Monday.

  • This is a life saver when travelling (well, before travelling was not as difficult as the last 2.5 years).

  • A single USB-C port seems old fashioned, USB-C > lightning cables are cheap now, some laptops only have USB-C (my surface) so even from a cable inventory UCB-C > lightning and USB-C > USB-C cables would cover phones and laptops …..

  • High quality product
But just wish the type-c PD port can charge in higher rate
30W is a bit low imo (even lower than the standard Nintendo switch adapter)
