"The latest cable I got today shows the wattage by the decimal at less than 10W, like it was displaying 2.5W when my phone got to full charge. The screen also shows the letters PD alongside the wattage if it is charging in pd mode(example 30W PD on the screen)."

    1 for 10$ no special or 2 for only 52$ 😆

    • Also thanks might be interested for testing usb c laptops in the workshop if they are reviving power for testing

      • this is goood shit

Something like this might be more useful if you already have a lot of type c cables and want to test them.

I have this exact one and I can confirm it works great!

    • Yeah, having a simple watt display attached to a cable is cute, but ultimately not super useful. On the other hand, it's ten bucks, so not really a premium over other 100w PD cables.

    • Using separate meter you add another active element to your PD chain. 100W PD cables already have active electronics. I found my FNB38 meter failing when this works.

Does this cable really charge upto 100W?
I’ve bought a couple but so far I’ve seen upto only around 50W only with a few of my devices

  • Does anyone know if this is USB 2 or USB 3 data transfer speed?

    • +1

It's USB 2.0 says it in the 4th picture

  • Arrived just now and has decimal points under 10w. and says PD.

But also found out my laptop is dell laptop is charging at such a low rate… 7.5W…. 40W when it's on.

    • My previous version one shows 80W on Macbook.

I bought two of these yesterday and tested today. Seems like a quality cable.

I connected it to my load tester, and it has no issues handling 100W at 20V. Both cables slightly under read by about 3% compared to a couple of different power meters, and the load tester itself.

It's consistent even when changing the position of the testers, cables etc, so appears to be just how the cables reads the power use. Not actually an issue, and generally they are great.

I got the deal where buying two gives a free SooPii 20W PD charger. (currently $8.49) It seems like a decent little charger. No issues giving 20W (at 12v) and it has been running 20W into the load tester for a few hours now without getting too hot or causing any issues.

    • where is that deal with free charger plz?

For me it shows up under the "Special offers for the item" pull-down under the product details.

It says that to claim it, you just add two of the cables and the charger to your cart and the discount is given automatically during checkout.

        It's this charger - https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B099PNCKHC
