    Can anyone comment on these? My wife's car has vertical air vents that move quite easily. We've use a few mounts that were pretty lousy and just end up moving or just sliding off; curious to know if that charging version would be any good with the hook style mount.

      Yeah, I have a similar one and they are rubbish.
      Would not buy or recommend one.

            Yes but won't sliding off like the old one, because of the weight of your phone it won't move, also because of the tail clamp.

                @ATangk: Thanks for the information, I think depends on the design of the air vent, my Corolla seems fine with this Baseus, it did drop a little bit but not all the way down.

                Of course better with bracket to support the weight.

                    Sure, this UGREEN should be very good, I bought the Baseus from AU store a bit more expensive than this deal but I bought it because of eBay Plus coupon.

    I had the old one which over time lost its grip and began to slide around on the vent, bought the new one and have used it for a few months and it's pretty stable, we'll see how it goes over time, but I'm pretty happy with it, especially at this price.

    I have to say I've been terribly diappointed with Baseus support. I had two of the ROUND vent holders with the prongs and both of them broke (cracked) the jacket that holds the springs near the ball that the actualy holder joins to. Just a weak point where all the weight sits on that needs fixing as it happend on both mounts.

    I let support know the first time via their contact details on the web site (the AU one) - crickets. When it happend to the second one I contacted them via a few different methods (both au and us websites and the ebay contact I bought it through). Also crickets.

    Both no more than 8 months old - Baseus simply don't give a crap.

    The current RECTANGLE mount I have is geat I have no issues but yeah in my experience if you have a problem with their product do not expect any help.
