So the 15" version of the new samsung series 9 ultrabook.
Essentially this one http://www.mln.com.au/product/?itemID=3993 is now available at JB Hifi for around $1800 + $200 for 2 years extended warranty

      Closest thing to that would be a Razer Blade notebook. 2.24 cm thick and packs a Core i7.

        hmm… i guess it might be more feasible to build a gaming desktop + buy an ultrabook.

        its still 6.4lbs, which is almost 3kgs D:

          yep..no way they are going to release an ultrabook with dedicated gfx anytime soon.
          The razer blade is too expensive to be as portable as an ultrabook…it does come close though.

          Also I prefer if ultrabooks are 15" or less which is the reason I was looking forward to this 15 incher samsung.

          Well there's that rumored to be coming on the 5th, but the gpu they included is shit and hardly suitable for real gaming (60fps).

          And everything is expensive here in Australia. I'm planning to wait until the ultrabook I want gets under $1000 then import it.

      Probably..but I'd wait for them to drop more…New Asus series in Computex blows everything out of the water. Getting a Taichi when it comes out.
