Philips Hue Starter Kit A60 E27 White, Philips Hue Starter Kit A60 E27 White Ambiance $17.59 ea in-Store Only @ Bunnings

250

On clearance instore only at Bunnings are these two Philips Hue starter kits that are excellent value if you're starting out. Based on the Google Cache their original price was $95.99 and previous deals have mostly been similar.

EDIT: Only the Edison screw is disconnected and not the B22 kits.

The first starter kit has plenty of stock nationwide, however the second starter kit with the wireless dimmer has really low stock so I've included the stores with stock below.

In my experience you often find these with the smart home products at the front of the store near the service desk or opposite the tools area.

None in greenacre. I was there today and went past the smart lighting. There was no philip hue at all

    • Stock counts aren't always completely accurate and often take a day or two to update. These are cards that need to be taken to the service desk and sometimes they don't make their way back :(

      • My local has had these for months, and a number of times I have taken the tag to the counter and asked for it, they aren’t there. Good luck, I have even had staff call other stores.

The opposite is true, many cards are available, but no stock. With a bargain like that one card is used then when lucky person gets to service counter they “broden” the deal, buy a few..

I did get lucky and got the last one, that was 4 months ago.

  • Did they have any deals on the colour changing ones?

    • +1

Sadly not. I went to a few stores today and saw no smart colour bulbs anywhere on sale.

      • Ah all good, thanks mate!

    • +1

If you can find stock, the colour one with 3 bulbs is $60.30

    • 1st kit ;) I opted for Google Cache because sometimes the pages won't display when they're set to a store without stock.

    • This looks like B22 not E27?

  • What are the product ids?

    • +1

First is 0176000 and second 0175994. I'll add them to the post.

      • 0176000 appears to be the White BC globes whereas 0175999 may be White ES globes.

  • So I went to buy this from Doncaster on the weekend as the normal ticket price was only $47 for 0175994. Took the printed card to the counter and they scanned and said it was an error as the barcode didn't match the number or photo printed on the Pay at Checkout card. They refused to honour the price despite our being clearly a pricing error made by them on their professionally printed card.

0176000 Appears full price in VIC?

    • You went instore and checked?

      • Nah. Cause I don’t read the deal like the idiot I am. Will do tomorrow ☺️

  • Never any bargains on color globes :(

  • Now me regretting buying these @ $30 a year or so ago. HAHA may be not really regret, I still managed to score decent bargain

  • My local Bunnings Philip Hue stock level and shelf space appears to be diminishing, 3-4 shelves now down to 2, is Bunnings looking to no longer stock Philips Hue?

    • I wouldn't be surprised. Wifi (annoyingly) seems more popular, and they've got their own Arlec Grid Connect suite to flog now.

  • No idea what's going on with Hue - lots of places seem to be clearing stock. If anyone wants to save a few bob, the Zigbee bulbs on AliExpress work with the Hue system. Colour bulbs are about $15 shipped. But they aren't as bright as the regular Hue bulbs and quality control is pretty poor.

    • My guess is that they're making way for the new starter kits containing brighter 1100 lumen bulbs

  • Is that sales on all Bunnings? Still showing no discount

    • in-Store Only

  • +1

Ya I went to store near my place it still shows normal price no discount

    • Looks like only the E27 is discounted

    • +1

      Same happened to me

      • Was it E27 or B22?

  • This post seems to be misleading?

    The 'Philips Hue A60 White - I/N: 0176000' is $95.99.
Only the very low stock 'Philips Hue A60 White Ambiance - I/N: 0175994' is $17.59

  • Went to Bunnings Waurn Ponds this morning and picked up 2 starter (A60 E27) kits for $17.59 using the above pic.

    Happy days.
