      We do yes, some of the Kids Ray-Ban selection is on sale (20-50%). Older kids, say 7-15yrs would be more suited to small (size '55') regular Rayban aviator.

    Is the 12 months warranty new? About 6 months ago we had a hell of an ordeal with the Adelaide/Myer store… we bought a D&G pair where the glass cracked directly where there was a bolt after about a month of owning it. Tried to return it under warranty only to be demeaned by the employee saying we broke it. Ended up needing to accept a replacement at 50% of the cost. 2 weeks later, this exact same pair cracked at the exact same spot which would have clearly indicated it's a manufacturers fault. Brought it back and again refused a replacement/refund. Had to contact Myer's head office and mention the ACCC who then contacted the store, and only then were we given a refund.

      No, we've always had the 12 months warranty. Whether or not it is deemed a manufacturing fault is usually dependent on three things; the fault itself, the brand and the discretion of the store manager. Sometimes, the situation can be tricky (e.g. your cracked lens), as it is difficult to deem whether the customer is telling the truth or not. Typical manufacturing defects are things like a lens popping out, a peeling frame etc. and will be replaced on the spot. Defects caused by customers for breakage protection are usually things like a smashed lens, a snapped hinge etc. and would be traded in for a 50% pair. I'm sorry to hear about the situation you went through, as you had a genuine issue. Please understand that in retail a lot of customers are prepared to lie to get their way and it ultimately hurts the honest customers such as yourself :(

        Saying that when I used to work for David Jones. If it remotely seemed believable that it could have happened. We replaced it on the spot. I know we've replaced pots and pans that a customer bought 30 years ago, still had the original receipt and had the pots wear out. They came with a lifetime warranty which mean the lifetime of the product but we replaced it anyway because literally they were correct, plus had the receipt.

      The standard black and tortoiseshell wayfarers are not on sale, but your can get the standard RB2140 for $179.95 with a VIP voucher from the website. Alternatively RB2132 retails for $140.

      RB2140 is 50% off in most colours/prints other than black and tortoiseshell. RB2132 is 50% off in purple and blue, but will have very limited availability.

      Nup, not true at all! There are hundreds more pairs in store that don't feature on the website. Especially since the website doesn't list the Myer exclusive brands (i.e. Fish, Fiorelli, Polaroid, Cancer-Council, Gucci etc. etc.)

      Sunglass Hut is inside every Myer store nationwide. The classic Rayban Wayfarer (RB2140) in black retails for $229.95 and isn't on sale, but you can use a VIP Club voucher from the website to get $50 off that. The colours that are on sale are likely to be special prints and wacky colours (think red, blue etc.), you'd really have to check your local store to see what they have on offer.

    Theres no sale, went to Myer Robina and rang up Myer Pacific Fair and went to a standalone Sunglass Hut, no signs indicating a 20-70% sale, and no discount on the Rayban Wayfarers at all, any colours.
