    Got myself the Ryda deal that had the Nikon D5100 + 18-55 mm lens plus a backpack and a few other things along with the 2 year Nikon warranty for 749.

    Don't want to neg this but i personally don't this is a good deal .

      FYI, the increase by Nikon is a relatively recent event, a lot of retailers are still incorrectly quoting 1yr because Nikon only announced that it was gonna be 2yrs in late November last year IIRC! It was part of their plan to combat grey imports! Anyone who's truly following the DSLR trends would know what the real Nikon wty was regardless of typos! ;)

        I bought mine over 6 months ago for a lower price with an 18-105 lens

    Physical stores like Ted's have it at $770 before haggling it down. And I think they offer price beating..
    This isn't really a bargain.

    Did some quick research turns out this is a good deal. I think one can buy this and later on upgrade to a D 3200 body as the prices come down.
