Not sure how much of a bargain this is but seems ok considering it costs only $2 more to own the movies.

Unfortunately, purchased movies in iTunes Store are not stored in iCloud, you can see movies on the "Purchased" page.

Anyway, that's a good price for a movie like Inception.

    • Wow, I never knew that. Thought they must be because TV shows are. Any ideas why this is the case?

  • Not too bad but they all seem the same titles that were in the recent B1G1F JB promo which overlapped with their 20% off so I actually picked up horrible bosses and crazy stupid love for a total of $12.78 for the two blurays.

    • Same, how could you resist?!

With iTunes, you dont "own" anything… they do.
As OP has already said, I'd rather go buy the disc and convert it manually to a format Apple devices can use.
Not a bargain imo, sorry OP.

  • Good to see that digital movie prices are coming down $7.99 for Inception, Harry Potter Deathly Hallows Pt1 & Pt2, Contagion and more.

Most recent release date is Sept 2011

Note you can download them to any iOS device you authorise and iTunes remembers it as Purchased so effectively stored in iCloud so you can delete on local and re-download at any time.

You can stream direct to iTV or download to other iOS devices for viewing offline

Seems negative votes because its Apple-only but slowly digital releases are getting more competitive and Apple leading the way
