  • Deans plug? Is that this one? — |

    • You could always get a $5 adapter if need be.

      • Ah I didn't know those existed. I have an E-Revo in the shed which hasn't had any love for years.

Last time I tried soldering on a lipo pack, did not go well at all lol.

Get a soldering station. I'd been using cheap irons for years, then finally picked up an old Hakko station. It really upped my game.

      • Got a link?or recomendation?

  • Have a couple of the 3s's no issues, woulda grabbed some more if they had them

  • Hmm, seems the price has creeped up over time. If you're handy with a soldering iron, grab the one with the cheapest plug and just put the one you want.

Adapters come in handy at times but then you start running into resistance issues once you have a host of differing vehicles with varying plugs

  • Does anyone know if it'll work with the WL TOYS 12427/12428??

    Thanks

    Gordon

    • I looked it up it will take 7.4v but i think since its 1:12 scale ( small, this would be too big for it ). You need like a shorty pack 2S. You would need something like this https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/284205408262?epid=2317946688&has…. I didn't look into the price for these small packs is okay on this retailer. Just showing the ones that would fit :)

      • thanks for the help!

      • Tape it to the top. It'll run all day!

Might be a bit slower though.

        • I was going to say strap it to the top then it would work. But i thought thought be silly. But you took it out of my head aha

    • This is the one you need for the WLTOYS car you have

      https://www.rchobbies.com.au/7.4v-1500mah-battery-to-suit-wl…

im pretty sure its L-ion you need need not LiPo,

if they dont have it in stock they usually can get it in within a couple of days

      • is that good quality though? Because if thats anything like the stock one that came with it, its crap!

        • That is the stock one
Unfortunately on that car you really dont have much option
          What was crap about it?
          Runtime? Charge time?

  • I am into rc this is quite a bargain if you were to buy this in a rc store you'd be looking at anything from 50 to 80. But as i run 3S sadly wont have have use atm. You can get any rc store to change the plug for you for like $5 or something. Unless you are okay with soldering iron and getting a diff plug. Haven't used this brand though but for the price try one out

These are great quality for the price, many good reviews on Youtube etc

      • That's cool, only thing left is to know if this shop is a decent one for customer service if need be and aren't using some copy of the brand ( i doubt it but yea )

        • This is the official shop, ZEEE started making batteries in 2011 and this shop opened in 2011 as well.

I have two sets of 2s and 3s of these packs for bashing and it can take a beating.
