  • What’s the difference between Zyrontech and HEYMIX? Are they still the same OEM product but difficult brand?

OEM is Huwder and you can buy direct from them for cheaper anyway. I have one and it goes great.

QA is a thing. If they got a batch of say buck converters that maybe failed a bit too frequently, and say zyron knocked back that batch, they'd sell them to heymix. If even heymix refused them…do you think huwder would just discard them? Haha unlikely. Random aliexpress seller it is!

Cheaper products are the QA failed batches from more expensive products.

…i guess in a similar way nvidia/etc bin silicon for different products? Pay less for less perfect silicon?

        • hmmmm "Zyron failed a bit too frequently", so they ship as zyron "ohhh they are failing, lets recall from around the world , rebadge the ones that come back and ones till in boxes, re-label and re-package and sell as Heymiz and sell again …………….. it's cheaper to redesign and fix the problem……………

          • @garage sale: I'm more taking about during QA testing, before they ship them out. High load tests, stress tests, etc. For whatever reason this batch fails 50 in 1000, instead of 10 in 1000. So they don't meet the requirements for say CompanyA, but CompanyB is happier to get a cheaper product with a higher failure rate and deal with it later.

Even in the most consistent fabrication process, sometimes something happens to a batch.

        • Seems strange to suggest that the OEM would sell 'seconds' under their own brand name.

Difference is same as between north pole and south pole. Zyron is a 100% Australian tax paying small business with 100% genuine SAA certifications. Heymix is a Chinese company that sells in Australia. Huwder is again Chinese company similar to Heymix but sits in China and ships worldwide.

The only product that Zyron and Heymix has in common is 66W charger which is also sold by Hyper Juice, US. Everyone sells OEM including Belkin, Alogic, Amazon Basics, etc. They just come from different factories.

Zyron's other chargers come from same factories as Baseus, Zendure, Alogic, etc. We don't sell those 20W 25W chargers that blasts often.
