    Hi, Thanks for the alert.
I knew it was about September, time for some binge watching (while it lasts).

My original subscribe (via Apple) says:

This email confirms your subscription purchase:

    App Paramount+
    Subscription Paramount+ annual
Content Provider ViacomCBS Digital DTC International LLC
Date of Purchase 11 September 2021
    Renewal Price $5.99/year
    Payment Method Account Balance

Your subscription automatically renews for $5.99/year starting on 11 September 2022 until cancelled.

To avoid being charged, you must cancel at least one day before each renewal date. To learn more or cancel…

    So… am I locked in @ $5.99/year?
    (happy dance).

I have a feeling your email will be on its way.

    • They all said that. You aren’t locked in.

LOL come back on the 12th after it renews and let us know.

        (Curse you Red Baron). lol

    • I’m like you got the same thing yet prompted by Apple of a price increase. Should I risk it or cancel?

    binge watching

You mean you have actually found something on P+ that is worth watching?
    Well done!

      Yellowstone

      • That's on Stan in AU, isn't?

        • not sure, i pirated it, but the wikipedia page says paramount network and i was under the impression that it was on paramount +

        • It’s also on Paramount

Another good show is Players. It’s about a LOL team

  • Top gun 2 when.

I got two emails. First said Click to confirm new rate, quickly followed by a second which said, This is your new rate - cancel a day before if you don’t like it

    • Yeah same here, too good to last. Not that I'll miss it, watched 2 episodes of Halo and that was about it.

  • I'm still paying the same for next year.

    • $0?

      • -2

Yes, I don't pay for Paramount Plus.

  • Posted this the other day but didn’t get many responses..

I (like many) signed up for Paramount nearly a year ago (when it was $6).

I can sign into the app using “Purchased via iTunes restore my purchase” but I cannot sign in manually (using email/password) I cannot even request a password reset as I never receive it

Anyone in the same boat, and know how to get around it??

  • I think I used it like.. three times.
The app was janky as hell for navigating between seasons and eps

  • App had classics like CatDog and Rugrats. Was sure to get my kids onto those.

  • Anyone who signed up for the $5.99, I just got an email that my subscription is expiring on 10th September.. but how do you check if I have cancelled my subscription already?

If I check iTunes, it says “Your subscription is expiring soon” but doesn’t say if I have cancelled it. I’ve checked my emails too, and I don’t have any cancellation email

    • +1

You canceled it, got the same thing on mine, subs that renew will say they will renew on that date not expire, likely did what i did and canceled the subscription the day you got the year subscription incase you forgot

      • I'll tell you what… Apple (and other services that offer a similar feature) are great for subscription services like this.

Would've been good in the day of Foxtel where you try and call and they waste all your time trying to retain you.
