          Yeah… some reports in June said it shipped in 2 weeks despite saying long lead time. I’m in the market for a curved ultra wide but not keen to have my money tied up

      I'm using the older version of this monitor (the 2015 model). It's excellent with the Mac mini.

      Can't comment on the thunderbolt question.

      If you don't need a widescreen monitor, I picked up a 28" AOC U28P2U for about $430 at JW Computers in Sydney. Its 4k and is bright and crisp.

    FYI i called them about this today. They told me its a minimum of 25 days before it will ship. If that matters to you (it does for me unfortunately)

    This is ok. But I would rather a higher resolution on a screen that size. While you will most likely end up using that effectively resolution, a higher resolution will make it a clearer image.

      Idk there, remember the vertical resolution is 14400x, which is about normal and a mid point between 1080px (too low), and 2096px (likely too high ram usage for many gpus with multiple other monitors)

    Waiting for 5k and 8k monitors to be more common. I swear 1440p is going to be the new 720p.

    At least we have 4k becoming more and more of the norm.
