Their stock managment does seem poor, it's an online exclusive but sold out in NSW but not other states.

        (edit: also wasn't my neg)

      • We all agree Kmart website is poorly written (eg in stock then unavailable at checkout).
But I haven't had any issues ordering and then receiving items…
You do need to check daily until you can order from your state/postcode though.

Dang I thought this was exclusive to Lego so I got it at full price. 🤦‍♂️

    • Yeah I thought so to, maybe they are exclusive for a certain amount of time

      • +2

Reported that Kmart has this as the only other exclusive retailer. That though seems to be typically 6-12months.

        • Oh really that makes sense, anywhere else is just selling it at a huge mark up.

Is the catle going to be lego Exclusive? I'm holding out on a deal for that as its too expensive otherwise..

  • 20 bucks under RRP doesn't seem like much of a bargain…

    • +1

Yeah it's only 11% off, but it's good seeing as it has only recently been released.

Most Lego will eventually be 20% off though, so assuming this doesn't remain a Lego/Kmart exlusive will be cheaper later.

  • Seems expensive for a small one.

    • +1

      What do you mean small?

Its 1254 pieces, and physicallly large.

      • It should be closer to 1800 pieces based on the price.

        • Your pricing is a couple of years out of date. Lego put their prices up after they announced record profits during COVID. Prices seem to have gone up even more since that price rise too.
Lego also announced that they would be bringing prices inline globally, but as far as I can see, that policy has seems to have made Australia the dearest place for Lego recently.

  • Out of stock online. Really over the artificial scarcity of things like this.

    • Only in NSW. Still in stock in VIC.

You just have to make sure you put in your postcode first.

      • Sold out in Vic too. Dammnit I wanted one of these.

        • Still working for Vic for me. Maybe try again.

  • I found this page - and seems at least some of these codes work with https://www.lego.com/en-au/

Most people not old enough to remember the early 80's as to this model WAS the ultimate "Space" themed set. So jealous that my cousin got it back then but I ended up building it for him. lol

I had this, stupid brother lost the peices I had stored away - though from one of the reviews it isnt exactly the same its pretty close.

    • I barely knew about Lego back then, but got 928 as part of bulk lot for $25 earlier in the year and built it last night - it's incredible. Can't wait for the update… when I get some of the rarer pieces.

Yes! Got one.. seems to be back in stock thismorning. Tried last night and was a no go. Always feels like a good weekend to buy Lego less than rrp on Sunday morning!

I just picked one of these up for delivery to Perth (6069 specifically).
