Hi all,

I was going to get fuel on the way to my weekly shop at woolies. Filled up 50 litres worth and saw that they had a 2 for $6 for milk. I believe that the promo used to be 2 for $5, but has increased up to $6 down. This equals $3 a bottle, which is 10c cheaper than woolies/coles in store.

Not much of a deal, but you will also get an extra 4c off per litre, which was just over $2 additional discount for me. Brought the total cost of the milk down to $2 a bottle.

I didn't snap a photo of the promo image in the fridge because wasn't thinking. As far as I know this is only available in EG fuel locations in VIC, but it very well may be nationwide and at Caltex Woolworths locations too!

    It was 2 for $ and it was briefly 2 for $5.50. I do this nearly every week for my ute for the same reason. I use gift cards as well to make it better. You have to manually input the gift cards though which can get tedious but it works out well.

      Yep I'm the same! I had to do some math to work out if it was better to take this offer or get the milk on my 10% off woolies shop, but even with the 10% off it was better at EG by about $1.58

        I never even thought to work out of it was cheaper with the extra, thanks for answering that for me.

        I fill up with LPG(dedicated LPG Barra) and LPG works out the same everywhere for the most part so this is money for jam(milk?). Keeps the fridge stocked with milk and Mooloo is better than the cheap Coles/Woolies/ALDI milk by miles.

      Btw, you can also stack another 4 cents/litre on top if you or your friend is an origin customer.

    Isn't coles express 2 for $5, this seems a $1 more expensive

      No clue, don't shop at Coles express, but if someone can confirm then that'd be great!

      I'd still fill up at EG because I get 4c off for shopping at woolies and an extra 5% off gift cards, but Coles express could be a good option for Coles shoppers! Don't know why milk at the petrol station is cheaper than supermarket. It goes against everything I was taught when I was younger lol

        I guess because most people who buy milk at servos are also there to buy fuel…
        So possibly, these companies are okay with making little/no money from milk sales if they can also draw in some fuel customers…

        It was last week in Melbourne, unsure about now
        Also the price is $2/l or thereabouts for diesel around me so it's decent with the extra discounts up to 16cents off it becomes the best prices around
        But at Coles you have to spend $20 compared to $5 at woolies

    Milk from QLD selling in VIC is a bit stupid, considering there is so much product available from Victorian farmers.
