Not the Weber Q Premium with in-hood thermometer and larger hood

The Premium (aka 3200) also has an electronic igniter vs piezo.

    • "The Premium (aka 3200) also has an electronic igniter vs piezo."

      Piezo is superior no?

Oddly my Weber Q has Piezo + in-hood thermometer. It's an old model though.

  • "Big & bulky items are not available for collection." So possibly have to add delivery? ($75 for me.)

    • They are just not click and collect. It's a stupid system Myer have.

  • Limited edition 70th anniversary kettle or nothing 🙂

  • After cashback it would be more than $604.08 because you don't get cashback on the GST component.

    It would be $619.18

Also there is no C&C option even though my store says there is stock so it would be another $75 on top

    Click & collect
    Not available
This item is not available for collection

So total with cashback is $694.18 delivered or $830.10 without cashback delivered.

It’s not available for click and collect so have to pay $75 for delivery, so not really worth it with the cash back. Better off waiting for a 20% off deal on Weber which they regularly do.
Cash back is only 10% as well as it’s classed under electronics

Was $679 delivered from weber ebay for the 3200 a few months back.

      • That was a great deal i missed. Still waiting for something similar

    • You can go in, buy and pick it up at the loading bay the old fashioned way.

      Costs nothing but time.

eBay has had the better Q3200 for $750ish before, so I would advise waiting for that.

definitely worth getting the premium with higher hood & temp gauge

      • 100% on the money. Amazing how much of a difference it makes if its not up to the correct temp.

    • Was $679 for the 3200. So an even better deal.

  • Didn't notice the inability to click & collect. Fair point.

  • Highly recommended.

The 3200 is better, but the features aren’t make or break imo:

-higher hood, never been a problem for me aside from beer can chicken which JUST fits but a large one may not.
-igniter works fine. Mine did seize up and Weber sent me a replacement for free, and told me that free replacements are available for life.
-thermometer isn’t necessary. You should be using a probe.

But if the price is the same/close, sure get the 3200.

For that price I’d prefer the traveler. It’s great at home and also camping.Best steaks 3min either side, easy peasy lemon squeezy. The only downside is it’s one burner but so far that hasn’t bothered me.

  • I got a gas webber. Used it only once. Seems once you go charcoal gas is trash.

  • Complete with trolley?

  • Not really meant to say anything but the new Spirit and Genesis BBQs are coming out very soon. I've seen them in person and unless it's for a Caravan or for a picnic etc there is no point buying a Q for home.
