Ok guys this deal is back, only this time it's $2 cheaper and the White Color version.

10:35pm update: Amazon cart error has been corrected. It was available for a brief period at $40, then it showed $40 but changed to $139.13 when placed in-cart. Now it shows $139.13. <<<<<——- Thanks mods for adding this. Amazon are quick on their toes to adjust prices.

It's still over $39 spend so shipping is free even for non Prime subscribers.
I added an extra + point and an extra - point to my opinion. They are the last points of both lists.

I recommend giving it a full charge before trying to turn it on, as per instructions.

I think the next cheapest price is $109 + shipping. So this is roughly 60% off.

My opinion: It sounds like a bluetooth speaker. Ok for casual listening. It does not sound smaller or bigger than it looks, at about 20cm tall is sounds about right for it's size. User manual says 7-9 hours battery-life, pretty normal for a Bluetooth speaker. 2 years warranty.

Good points: + It is a standing design like UE Boom so it takes less space and throws sound 180 + 180 degrees, + Handsome design, + Battery level indicator (works when off too), + USB charger included, + Aux port? if anyone still uses those. + Holds charge well when it's off which is an underrated feature, I have another BT speaker which needs to be charged every 7 days even when it's off because it loses charge so quickly.
Bad points: - Touch controls on top are a little funny, tapping does nothing you kind of need to hold it to trigger. - The packaging is a tube, which is tough to twist open because of the vacuum, then when it pops off the speaker sits only halfway in the bottom so it almost fell out (Be careful). - There is a limiter on this speaker, if you EQ it to be too bassy the limiter will kick in quickly and reduce the volume of the speaker in short bursts, it sounds like someone is turning the volume up and down quickly (this is to protect the battery health, but also will be annoying for some users).

From what I can hear there are 2 speakers one left and one right side, then a passive bass thing in the middle facing forward.
Says 20w didn't sound like that out of the box, after using the PEQ on free Onkyo Player App it now sounds like 20w but max volume is reduced.

  • Got one. Thanks!!

  • Might consider this. Anyone has long term use reviews to share?

    • +1

I've had the black one I posted in a deal since early June if you would consider that long term.

Not sure what you want to know, but just remember it's smaller than you think at around 20cm tall and 8x8cm footprint.
It's listed at $249 retail price on their official website. Not sure who would buy it at that price but I definitely would not.

In my opinion it's a well designed bluetooth speaker (+ and - points written in deal), as long as you don't listen to it at ear blasting volume levels which might trigger the limiter regularly.
The super low price just sweetens the deal.

Be quick if you want it, last time the $42 price only lasted 30 minutes after posting before it shot up to $149.

  • Comes up as $139.13 when I add to cart…

    • Weird, it's still showing as $40 on the listing. And another user in the comment at the top seems to have gotten one at $40.
      Maybe contact Amazon chat?

Last time I posted the black version for $42, and I purchased it before posting the deal so there was 24+ hours of time elapsed and the price stayed at $42 until I posted here.

A few more users here must have purchased it at that price and then the price went back up within 30 mins.

    • Alright listing shows $139 now. Game over. Amazon wins again.

  • I saw "Phantom Black Extra Large" still $55 or Amazon Warehouse $51.51, not sure what is different. I bought "EFM Austin Pro Bluetooth Speaker" from Amazon Warehouse $50.
