PS5 is the same price at JB

  • +1

Not the lowest but still good.

Have a heap of emails from camelcamelcamel in the last 24 hours. Price had gone as low as $65 in the last couple of days (and I even had an email where the subject said $0.00 which was obviously an error).

Hopefully will drop closer to $40 by Xmas and I’ll pick up.

  • +1

Lots of these on eBay and marketplace for about $50 since it's a common bundle, and people don't want the game (myself as an example)

    • Same haha.

  • I'm curious to see if games like this eventually come to PS+ Extra

    • -3

      Years away

      • +1

        I reckon inside of 2 years…

        • is gt sport on plus extra?

  • I picked up a PS4 for $200 and GT Sport for $10.

How much am I missing out on v PS5 & GT7? (Genuine question)

    • Watch some YouTube videos in 4K on a decent TV and compare. I’d like to give an answer but I didn’t play GT Sport on PS4. I have enjoyed GT7 on PS5 though.

    • I prefer gt sport, have both finished gt7 and am still playing gt sport

Playing both through PS4 and 2k projector

  • That PS5 price, nice.

If your thinking of buying the game is online only. Which I think is stupid for a racing game personally

    • +1

Not completely true, or at least that has the potential to be misleading. There's definitely a singleplayer element (licences and racing series as well as arcade options). What's stupid is you need to have an internet connection to play the career mode. I don't entirely understand why they do that.

      • +1

this was in GT Sport as well

they want to make it completely online so there's no way cheaters can hack the account… since they sell mtx and they dont want a situation like in Forza where theres hacked cars… hell even something like DCS has hacked planes

  • I actually saw the ps4 version on Amazo at $58 before prime day. Strange not picked up by Camel.

Waiting for the Ps4 to drop lower before biting.

  • Is this even good at all?

    • +4

It launched in a dismal state in terms of progression. It's still not great but you can earn money relatively easy without ponying up actual cash. There's not a lot of single player content compared to the biggest GT entries (3, 4, 6) but still about 50+ hours to do everything. The graphics and driving physics are the best the series has ever offered. It really sets the bar for racing games.

Have pumped over 100 hours into this game. Absolutely love it. The microtransactions is annoying but just grind away.

      • i wouldnt call GT7 a game for casuals

do 'normal' people feel its ok to grind the same track for money since so many cars are so expensive?

i never grinded races in forza

        • Definitely not for casuals. I remember back in the days playing GT2-5 and showing my friends and they were wondering why it didn't play more like the initial D arcade game or need for speed.

You can't just hit the handbrake and expect the car to drift around the corner at 100+km/h, and not hit a wall

  • Time to update my Eurobeat playlist and refresh my drifting skills

    • ironically i dont think there's much drifting missions/challenges whatever in gt7

      • Yeah nah I just used to practice a lot with the 86 on trial mountain circuit but Fuji and Laguna Seca isn't too bad. I used to tune it to a point where I could just beat the other cars by drifting

  • +1

$15 to upgrade the PS4 version to PS5, in case anyone was thinking they could save the extra $6

  • Will get wen $39.
