Interested in participating in this, but also don't really want to receive a bunch of junk that didn't sell all too well.

Might just donate and leave it at that.

Respect! At the very least, junk can still become thoughtful gifts :)

  • Annie disapproves.

You're just gonna get some junk they can't sell

  • For a great cause but expect junk for the most part, that and games they cant sell.

I have purchased two mystery boxes a few years ago. It is all junk, and I threw pretty much everything away. But it is for a good cause. Things I received in the $100 box were:

    • Plastic Star Wars light
    • Empty Metal Collectors Box for an Xbox game (which I didn't own)
    • Skylanders figure
    • An old Xbox game (which EBGames was selling for about $10)
    • Children's T-Shirt with some cartoon character (I didn't recognise it)
    • Keyring

The premium item was the plastic Star Wars Light

    • Empty Metal Collectors Box for an Xbox game (which I didn't own)
      Haha, genius.

I miss the relevant platform boxes they use to sell.

I got some really cool games etc

After 18 minutes, only the $25 box remains.

Some EB and ZING stores are selling their own boxes in-store, dependant on management.

You buy the mystery box in blind, but they don’t sell this in blind. Don’t waste your money on this.

    • +1

Just consider it a donation to Starlight that is not tax deductible.

I know its for a good cause but you're still buying a box of garbage from EB.

Just received my $200 mystery box and it included a router lol. It also has a walle backpack, 3 t shirts (1 right size lol), 2 Pokemon trading card books, a Nintendo heart stress ball (dont know what this is from), 2 Zelda key chains, Nintendo Switch tempered glass screen protector and probably about 200 Pokemon cards lol (just a guess as there is a lot of them.

I thought a 1m Micro USB cable was an odd inclusion to the table in-store, until the router came up.

Merged from EB Games Mystery Box (for Starlight Foundation 2022)

Anybody else get their mystery box and find something weird like a router.
