Never heard of this brand, but they are wireless headphones that are low in price.
Free shipping for non Prime subscribers because it's over $39.
Stock comes from Harris Technology, price is for Grey color only.

18 hours battery life is not great but don't expect much at this price point.
Rtings says it's microUSB and Bluetooth 4.1. Overall score is 6.5 so very "average".

One negative review says the headband cracked so keep that in mind.

3x Camels shows it has been $160 to $145 in the past, then dropped down to $60 since 1 year ago. So you can consider it 75% off or 33% off.

    Never heard of this brand

    WTF?

    • Are they popular?

Just found this previous deal from January, seemed to be pretty popular. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/678109

Found out just now it's been dropping to this price quite regularly. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/product/plantronics-backbeat-go…

      • They're popular at this price.

        Previous deals: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/product/plantronics-backbeat-go…

The brand is a bit more oriented toward business so fair enough if you haven't heard of them.

      • +1

I think they rebranded to poly. But as another commenter said, they are more oriented to businesses. I have one of their "cheap" office headsets, and audio quality and microphone audio (+ noise suppression) is pretty good.

      • +3

They have been in business for more than half a century.
“The words spoken by U.S. astronaut Neil Armstrong as he stepped on the moon were transmitted through a Plantronics headset.”

    • tbf to op, plantronics is popular for business audio esp. headsets for comms but have almost zero footprint for home consumer

    • Never heard of this brand
I bet OP heard brand "beat"

      • Nope never heard of that brand either.

When I think of headphones I think first of Sony. Then maybe Yamaha, Bose, I can't think of more now but if you mention audio companies I will probably recognize them.

Marshall? I don't have anything from that brand though because it looks like they spend all their money on looks and not sound.

  • I don't see it…$87

    • Grey is the new black

    • aaand it's gone.

      • Fricking bait advertising. Change for a minute so you can advertise on this site then change back.

        • The price didn't go up, it just showed as "Currently unavailable".

Now the Grey option has disappeared lol together with the price.

      • Yeah showing as "Currently unavailable" now. Not many in stock probably.

    • Grey color only.
I selected the Grey color and copied the link, but clicking through shows another color selected for some reason.

  • Great headphones for work and music (on the cheaper side) BUT will only last about 12mts (with moderate use).

    • I took care of mine well and ona onky used them at home and the headband still broke in 9 months (and they were the more expensive ones)

  • $74.42 at HT for the grey one. I don't see how it would be as low as $39.90

    • This deal was fulfilled by Amazon AU with stock coming from 3rd Party seller Harris Technology, not from the Harris Technology online store.

      • Yes I get that. Just saying the seller is HT via Amazon, If HT doesn't lower price why would they do it via Amazon?

Anyway there was probably 1 unit, how can it be out of stock within 7 minutes at late night hrs…

        • Amazon prices are always changing. I found out after I posted that it's not an "unusual" deal.

I posted the same link in my comment at the top, but as you can see here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/product/plantronics-backbeat-go…
It has been this price many times before. As low as $35 even, but that deal didn't have free shipping because it's under $39.

        • "how can it be out of stock within 7 minutes at late night hrs…"

There is a computer program controlling all the prices. It does not sleep lol.
Amazon's computer reacts fast and after a few sell at the low price they raise the price back up within seconds.
If you look at most Amazon deals recently this is always the case.

In this deal's case though it looks like they "sold out" first. So I agree with you not many in stock probably.
