Just got a new Lenovo laptop (AMD so no thunderbolt) and I want to connect it to two 1080p 60Hz displays (both have display port/HDMI) and charge it with the included type-C charger from a single USB 3.2 Gen 2 type-C port. Worth noting neither monitor supports daisy chaining.
I see alot of USB hubs on ozbargain, but they're either downvoted to hell like this one https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/719820 or the comments say the ports only support 1080p 30hz or that USB 2 is too slow
Wondering if anyone had any good deals for this? Would prefer the bang for the buck/cheapest option that actually works. Thanks!
I also bought an E14 AMD recently and in anticipation of making it a 3-screen setup (2 monitors + laptop), I bought this. I still haven't bought the second monitor but this seems to be working okay if I connect my external monitor through this. This uses 10w so the actual supply to the laptop from a 65w charger is actually 55w (reflected in Vantage). Alternatively, there are other options that you could consider, given that Officeworks or Kmart both have a generous return policy.
