Oh no….how ever will I continue to HODL? Lol.

  • +9

    $1500 after the limited time?

  • +10

Make it $1500 and i'll bite

    • Under 1k or nothing.

      • Can I trade in my 2080 Super for $1k

        • +7

I have a 2080 Super too, we should combine and sell as a 4160 Mega.

          • @Flying Ace: i have a 1080, we can all combine and get a 5240 Mega Pro

            • @slowmo: I have a spare GALAX 1080 Sn1per white LED… Perhaps SLI is still a thing?

              • @DisasterArea: jokes aside. no idea if that still works in a viable way tbh.

i got badly burnt by the AMD CF in the past… too many drivers and single card utilisation issue.
sure i mean it looks good physically having multiple cards on the same case.. but its just not worth the headache.

games support is almost always 'it depends'…

    • +1

      Fairly low effort discount

  • +1

Make it $999 and i'll bite

  • +1

    LOL-DL

  • will this baby will runs on RM750w power supply?

    • -2

it will pull 400w+ so no lol

      • +1

Youre severely overestimating draw on most components, plus the rm750 is an 80plus gold. It'll work fine.

      • +2

Incorrect, I got a 5950x and this exact GPU in a custom water loop running on a SF750 SFX PSU.

    • if it were a lower end 3090 and a platinum psu definitely, dont know much about the rm750 tho

    • yes it will rm750 is an A tier PSU

Ah MSY, the computer store where customer service and consumer rights go to die

    • +1

      true story

  • +11

they have a 3090 ti for same price @ https://www.mwave.com.au/product/galax-geforce-rtx-3090-ti-e…
better deal imo. also you dont have to deal with dodgy msy who got fined 700k for being (profanity) and screwing customers out of warranty

    • -2

Why do you think galax is better than Asus Strix? or is just the possible warranty issue

      • +7

The "Ti" part makes it better.

      • +2

Ti has all its 24Gb's on one side and its cooled very well… the standard 3090 has its 24Gb's on both sides and the ram on the rear gets over 100c temps.. lucky to last a few years before those things become defective.

We also have Nvidia RTX4090 series and AMD RX7900 series coming out in a few months times.. who would buy a $2000 card today that wont even beat the midrange next gen cards

Waiting 2 months will be the largest payout in price to performance EVER.. Also the price of these things will drop at least $1000

    • Or FTW3 at BPTech for $2099

  • +1

Petty sure 3090 is being discounted worldwide. So this could be lower.

  • oh yea .. i remember MSY, they had the best prices, but that was sooooo long ago.

never had any warranty issues, and one time they gave me a loan gaming video card while doing warrant - thanks MSY

    Inno3d RTX 3090 ICHILL X4 24GB $1,799 + Free shipping at Landmark Computers.

  • You can't be serious, LOL.

  • lmao let's be serious. no deal. other 3090s have been much lower. even though this is a top-end sku, HODL

  • +8

    MS - Y bother.

  • +1
    • We also have Nvidia RTX4000 series and AMD RX7000 series coming out in a few months

  • HODL?

  • -1

    $1999 hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • +2

They must be joking when I posted 3090 ti for that price.

  • -1

Haha this guy didn't get the memo, this is barely lower than any other prices and it is only going to go down

  • +3

    I'm back, baby

  • +1

    3090 for 2k isn't a deal

  • Yeah, nah!

  • wow. 2K

nobody is buying. you can keep your overpriced cards

  • +2

Did you forget the Ti in the title?

  • eh….NO

  • -1

You could maybe consider this a "deal" at around $1,500, but at that price it's still very much worth HODLING. However, at $2k this is just a joke lol.

  • They way GPU prices have been dropping this is a non deal.

  • Isn't nVidia dropping the MSRP again… Also Umart has the 3090 TUF for $1799.00.

  • +1

    And the crowd goes… mild.

This is somewhat insulting. Do better MSY!

  • +1

@MSY Make it $1000 and us bargainers will buy it :)

  • +1

"Limited time only deal" $1999 + $20 surcharge fee hahahahahahahahahahahahahah

More like "Limited time robbery" hahahahahahahahahaha MSY hahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • With the 3090Ti EVGA on sale at "bestbuy" in US for US$1399, prices are coming down.
the RTX4080 will kick it's ass and still be cheaper , rumours have it, https://www.bestbuy.com/site/evga-nvidia-geforce-rtx-3090-ti…

  • This ain't a bargain. Honestly more of a bad joke

  • I'm really wondering who is doing all this posting on Ozbargain at MSY. They have the cheapest 3080 ti for sale in Australia yet someone decided to post a 3090 "deal" from 2020….

  • Sure, it's a magnificent card but the plague that is LHR has hardened my heart to such deals. Perhaps if the current stock of cards were unlocked and I could bear to part with some hard and earnestly won dollars, earnestly won in a squalid apartment almost set ablaze by mining, then this would be permissible. Nowadays I find it's less and less frequent with the constant manufacturer penny pinching.

I therefore lament into song ahem Trrrry to remember the kind of September when ETH will merge and price will follow, TRRRRY to remember the kiiiind of September when fiat coins were a relic and beholden to crypto, try to remember and if you remember then borrow, borrow, boooorrrrooowww….
