If you are already on Boost, you CAN NOT port your existing number to this sim card.

This is a brand new Boost sim card.

PORTING YOUR OWN EXISTING NUMBER TO BOOST:
You can request porting your own number to Boost when activating the SIM. Before porting your number, contact your current service provider to confirm personal details. Make sure your Name and Date of Birth registered with the number are 100% correct including spaces. Ask to update your details if anything is incorrect. Once confirmed, provide the exact same details to Boost to initiate the porting. Some carriers will send you an SMS to authorize the porting request, so make sure the current SIM is inserted until the service is disconnected. Telstra users need to contact Boost first before porting their number.

        • Yes you would get $140 GB data if your recharge before the 26.09.22 just got one from officeworks and can confirm this had already been working the description on office works website is incorrect

  • Is it possible to buy now and activate next month?

    • +1

Yes - you can activate it whenever suits you (up until the expiry date on the pack).
The only difference is the amount of 'bonus data' changes over time, so you might get more or less.

      • Thanks

    • +1

Yes you can but you won’t get the bounes 40gb data

      • +1

Received from oztechtraders and have started using it. Got 140GB completely ;)

    • How do you go about getting this done? Thanks in advance.

Provide either this Oztech or Ebay price/link and rest they do.
Price match with lowering further 5% as price beat.

    • Another price match by Officeworks given ebay price
      $140 delivered

  • Oh, just ordered 1, went to order a 2nd and Out Of Stock. Am I that unlucky that I literally scraped bottom of barrel here? Lol.

@oztechtraders is that the case and you're OOS? If so, are you getting any more in? If so, can you DM me when you do?

    Please and thank you.

    • Hi,
The product is back in stock now.
      Kind regards
      Support team

      • Fantastic. Done. Thank you.

      • Hi, can you pls let me know if you restock the $200 SIMs? Thanks.

  • How do I checkout with 2 so I dont need to pay postage twice?

    • buy from Ebay?

      • Ebay oos.

I want to buy 2 also but there dreaming if they think I will pay postage twice.

  • Is it easy to manage multiple SIM cards within one boost/Telstra ID or is is better to create a new boost ID for each SIM?

  • Is this 140GB over the whole year or 11GB that resets every month?
Currently with Kogan 12 month plan and sometimes I turn wifi off when I go out to save battery and forget to turn it back on when home.
It was only that I had used my monthly quota that made me realise…..with a 12 month quota that could be very dangerous

    • It is one big lump for the year - so it is possible that you could burn through it.

  • I’ve sim card of Optus already, it’s possible to change the Boost data and keep my phone number

    • Yes just activate new SIM card and when asked, select port existing number option on the websites portal.

  • Anything other than Telstra or Boost if you are travelling around rural Australia is hopeless. You may get Optus in a lot of country towns but once you venture out a bit, go to smaller towns or venture off the main highways it’s usually Telstra or nothing.

  • How much is the bonus data and can I switch the companies after six months if I want to ?
    Let me know please

    • The 40GB is bonus, 100GB is the standard recharge.

Of course you can leave after 6 months - but you'll forefit any remaining credit since you are pre-paying for a year.

  • Hi,

I made an order Tuesday but did not receive the confirmation email. I just sent an inquiry via the website.

Can you check this out for me?

    Yangqi

  • how to port out and port in how much wait time?

    • There have been reports of same day and some 7 days. Recommendation seems to be to buy a Kogan $3 sim and use that until it runs out then activate this boostie.

      • Interesting…. Anyone know if Boost checks if you are an existing customer within a certain period so you won't get the discount if you churn back X number of days? Kogan is Vodafone I heard you cannot say go to Aldi as that's also Telstra network mnvo

  • Am I able to add more than 1 SIM to the cart? Adding another doesn’t increment the total?

    • Ignore me, I read the message that came up about not being able to add another. I’ve ordered two in separate transactions, thanks!

  • @oztechtraders showing out of stock again.

    • Hi,
Inventory has been added for the item.
      Thank you

  • Does anyone know if VoWifi works with Boost while roaming overseas?

Currently on Belong and wanna port away…

    • +1

      yes this works

      • Thanks :)

  • Does anyone know if i use the starter pack to recharge existing boost number via chat will it void the cashrewards cashback ?

  • eBay pricing has increased?

  • If my current plan doesn't end till the 4th of november with kogan. Can i opt out on say the 24th of September to get the bonus data and will it switch over?

  • +1

Just got it price matched with Officeworks ($144)
It totally depends on person to person, who attends the call, whether they price match or not.
First I called this morning and the lady said she can't pricematch with Luckymobile or Oztechtraders, as she specifically looked for the product code match.
But after finding out about the ebay deal, I called again to price match to the listed $156 (after coupon), but the lady said she can't price match with coupon codes. She said she can price match with Luckymobile, didn't check the product code.
If someone tells you they can't price match over the phone, hang up and call again, its all about the officeworks rep you get.

For the lucklymobile or ebay deal links, look through the previous comments on this thread.

    • Did officeworks receipt say is activated? Do I need to activate on boost mobile website again if I want to use it say 20th September?

      • What you receive is a sim card that is not activates. You just need to follow the instructions inside the sim envelope.

  • why cant you order 2 at the same time, it doesn't allow for more than 1 quantity?

    • Anyhow, made 2 orders, great deal, thanks.

  • Showing as OOS

    • +1

      inventory updated.
      Thank you.

  • Ordered 6 Sept. Never received any order or postage confirmation, only my PayPal receipt.
Managed to use 'track your order' on the website and can see my order was shipped 7 Sept. Just disappointing to not get any communication from Oz Tech Biz.

  • +1

    HI,
Sometimes the order confirmation lands in the spam or junk folder. Please check that too.
As you mentioned your order has been processed.
    thank you

    • Apologies, it was in my junk folder. I should have checked there. Thanks.

        Hi,
That's all good.No need to apologise for that.
        Have a good one.

  • Hi, will you be restocking this product? How long does each delivery method take to get to Brisbane?

  • Will this get restocked bin time to be sent and received before the 26th?

  • We will update this as soon as we get more stock.
About delivery guarantee better to buy using express post.
    Thanks

  • I ordered a $300 Boost Sim card from these guys. It arrived, but the sim has been carefully opened - not fully but mostly. At the top it was pretty much completely open.

Oztechbiz blamed it on postage, but I can't see how that is possible.

Anyway, Oztechbiz has apparently recorded the sim's serial number which is a bit weird. Can the Sim serial number be used for some sort of sim swapping scam in future or anything dodgy?

    • SIM serial is on the outside of the pack right? Can't be too sensitive if it is!

      • Fair point! It is weird the packaging was open just enough to see the details on the physical sim card though

    • Hi,
      Thank you for contacting us.
The sims are sent in an envelope and also the packaging of the sim is not that strong. If you are not happy with the service there is still an option to send the sim back to us and we will give you a refund. T&C applies.
      Kind regards

  • Hi. Does this have phone conference options? 2+ calls at the same time?

    • Good question - I just tried it out, and was able to set up a conference call with 3 instances of message bank (and it still had the button to add more).

I don't think I could previously when I was on Exetel.

I am in the same boat, I contacted both the OP of this post, and boost live chat. Boost live chat said that they will manually add the bonus data when I activate, even if it’s a few days passed 26th. The OP mentioned to me just today that apparently boost is extending the bonus data until Nov 👍

      • They prettymuch always have bonus data, but the amount varies.
