Not quite as cheap as the previous 85" deal I posted, but saw this for anyone wanting QLED. I have no idea on the specs of this vs other QLEDs.

Finally I can have a bat in 4K

    • Good one. I wish i have enough wall for 85.

    • Any cheaper for 75"?

      • Q60a is selling for around $1200 at jbhifi.

    • True, but aesthetically that Sony is as fat as a yellow pages and would be a pain in the ass to wall mount. Agree the panel is nice tho!

  • Still waiting for QN85B to come down on price :(

For anyone with access 2879 on samsung govenment store.

    • I would recommend buying directly from the good guys if you can. Samsung's after sales is as bad as they come.

      • I bought a QN800b directly from Samsung. I think it blew a fuse or something two weeks later. I called customer service, and they sent their authorised third party repairer (who came a week later), who then recommended it for repair or replacement. I asked for a complete replacement. The TV was replaced probably 1.5 weeks later. Their customer service was fine, the only thing that takes time is delivery/logistics side of things. Why? I dunno, COVID?

        • Similar experience, service was fine. They just have agonisingly slow delivery (or maybe I've just become used to Amazon).

Anyway, Samsung online store is usually free delivery (haven't checked for TVs), so might be a quite a price difference.

If it was a another retailer you would have probably gotten it replaced in a day.

Usually they push to repair it than replacement, lucky yours was replaced.

          • @abs898: Well the Samsung Case Manager gave me three options. Repair, Replacement or Refund, but the case manager seemed to push for repair as replacement as they advised that it would probably take 6 to 8 weeks (however in reality it only took 1.5 weeks). One of the reasons why I didn't go down the repair route was the fact that the authorised third party repairer actually recommended I go for a replacement as spare parts were in short supply and it would take weeks to ship. I trusted the authorised repairer more as they're on the field and have visibility on issues.

    • Q60B? So the same price?

For anyone with access 2879 on samsung govenment store.

      • Correct - QA85Q60BAWXXY is 2879 as the discounted price. Aus government samsung store, I assume education store is pretty similar.

For that matter the 85 inch 70B is 3444 (1854 off rrp).
