Highly rated bookshelf speakers, arguably the best under $500 range?

Not the all time best price but it's still a good price IMO.

    You can, main downside is that the TV can't control the volume like most soundbars, especially soundbars with ARC (most of them). Some people think the lack of a central speaker like in a soundbar or a surround system with a dedicated central speaker makes dialog hard to hear, but others have pointed out that if you have trouble with dialog then you might not have the 2 speakers properly pointed inward.

    Of course these come with a remote so you don't need to get up to change volume, and if you have a univeral remote that will be able to change the volume too.
