I've been continuing on the zero alcohol this month and just bought some Vandestreek from Shiftlanes. Pretty good Neipa and Grapefruit IPA condidering Vintage Cellars and Craft Zero are selling it for over $100 a case!

    God knows. Even $50 is up there. But their NEIPA is probably one of the better ones I've had.

    Shouldn't be any bloody tax as they're alcohol free! I get that craft beer costs more to make, but with zero tax $100 for a case seems like they're taking the piss (pardon the pun).

      For sure. I know its a costly process to make these beers retain taste / flavour, but it can't cost as much as craft beers.

  Alcohol excise tax is about $20 per case of beer, so this seems a good price given that a decent craft brew is about $100/case.

      Yep - you are giving the Commonwealth Treasurer $20 on every case of normal strength alcoholic beer. No tax (well only 10% GST) on this non-alcoholic stuff.

  Thanks OP. My mate raves about these but they're $24 per 4 pack. This is a bargain!
