Another case deal from PLE. This one is not for everyone. Lian Li is a premium brand and this is definitely a premium case. Again could be worthwhile paying for the steep shipping as the next cheapest is $589 at scorptec according to staticice. If you live in Victoria or WA there is a chance you can click and collect.

  • $700 for a case!? Tell them he's dreaming

If only the people on this website reacted the same way about $1000 GPUs

      • Apples and oranges. GPUs were sought after due to mining which gives miners a return of their investment.
This empty piece of metal doesnt

        • Did anyone here make any money mining…

        • Apples and oranges again. You can get a comparable case for much less any time of the year.

Tell me if that was the case for GPUs recently?

@Yeahbudsimmons: You just proved my point. You can’t compare both. While you have a wide range of prices for cases, the demand for gpu affected all models which drove all gpu prices up
Simply, the demand is very different

            • @Brakus: Yeah so obviously as part of the ozbargain community we are here to just pay what the market wants, right? :) that’s what this whole website is about yeah?

              • @Yeahbudsimmons: Last time I check, this site is about posting BARGAINS of specific products. Not comparing high end stuff with low end and expect people to go low end bec it is cheaper. Nor is it about manipulating market conditions ignoring demand and supply factors

If I need a computer now but gpu prices are at an all time high, then I appreciate bargains posted for that particular time at that particular market condition. Dont expect people to wait a year with an unbuilt computer just to make you happy

                • @Brakus: Ok so based on that mentality, if the RTX4080 releases with an RRP of $5000 and gets discounted to $3500 6 months later, it would be worthy of being posted here as a bargain?

                  • @Yeahbudsimmons: If there's now a $1500 saving, then absolutely yes ?

                    • @Nom: How about if it launches for $10,000 and gets discounted to $5000 6 months later? I think that’s an even better bargain because now it’s a $5000 saving.

Obviously not for you but for people who wanted to buy this particular case

    • Have you seen prices for the Spectre cases? $2000USD.

HODL. More cases will be discounted as next gen releases.

Think I'd rather have a travel backpack 👀

A case that big and only room for 3 HDDs?.. say what?

    • I can't remember the last time I had a HDD in my case…..

    • Modern motherboards mount their NVMe storage directly on to the Motherboard - you don't need drive bays any more for a gaming/workstation machine in a case like this.

If you've got mechanical drives for bulk storage, then chuck them into your NAS/Server.

If you still have a few SATA SSDs, then you can fit 3 of them into this case alongside your main NVMe storage.

As usual, all comments on OZB not understanding the focus and target audience of the product.

No one is stopping you buying a $100 case.

  • All that cost and looks, but the cooling performance is still poor. Rather get something else.
