Available from 29/08/22 to 25/09/22.

Important offer conditions:

Spend $1 or more in a single transaction on your Westpac Credit Card by either the primary or secondary cardholder.

Limited to 1 cashback transaction(s).

Cashback is limited to 1 card per customer, per retailer and will be paid into your account within approximately 7 days.

Offer is valid for online purchases only. Offer limited to the value of $20 cashback. Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

Looking at this, a $200 super shopper card will get you the full $20 in 1 go.

        This is the first time it happened to me. I usually always have some rewards displayed (the crappy ones). So even if I don't get this particular deal, it should still show other rewards.

          they are showing on my old phone app and direct on the website, but on my new phone they are all gone, so not sure what is going on….but don't have this offer on mine anyway….oh well.

    Anyone know if the Westpac debit card is valid for the offers you can see in your banking app? or does it need to be on a credit card?

      What does it say in the offer? Mine specify credit card but I don't have a debit card with them.

    Special.com.au is only good for immediate hit and run during promos (as in, get your discounted card and immediately spend it).

    Never seen a company take all of your money for using a promo code in a way their own systems allowed. At worst they should have issued a refund and not honoured the promos.

      I bought one gift card and used it as a leisurely pace for a month with no problems. Just don't create multiple accounts to take advantage of the deal multiple times.

      Edit: Jesus Christ you were one of the ones who not only created multiple accounts but chained gift card purchases across them, maybe don't do that next time?

        Yes I was, which was a pathetic oversight on their behalf to allow that.

        But there are plenty in that thread that did not chain gift card purchases and still had accounts and cards disabled.

          Totally agree with your 'hit and run' analogy. The way that this mob govern their system (disabling account after 4-5 gift card purchases), it actually encourages people to create more accounts.

    Nice, seems to be working through the app now. Bought one, immediately used it to buy a Wish eGift card at 4% off.
