  • Is club Jetstar worth it? , I've purchased it before when it gave you gift cards

what month are these prices for?

ill remove the neg once you answer, cant find those fares

    • Los of dates from Jan - August 2023 - try Feb 9 - 19 MEL - HNL as an example. The searching is hard because it doesn't show you the Club Jetstar prices until later, so just choose random dates - its a bit of trial and error unfortunately

and sudden cancellations. Had it happen to me a few times with Jetstar flying domestic and international. Got a jetstar credit but annoying when you have booked everything else

      • :( booked/gambled for japan in dec. Hate it if that happens. We need more protection/compensations for paid hotels or more expensive flights due to last minutes booking

  • Jetstars 7kg carry on limit is such a drag.

You have option to buy check in luggage if needed at reasonable price…

it was a bastardised homophone joke

I'll wait for the next one. I want to return for free.

  • Is Club Jestar really worth it? Would probably only fly once a year with them for a great deal like this.
Does each person flying with you need to be a member to get the discounted price?

    • feb 16 - march 2nd, $337.12

      • +1

I realised what I was going wrong, but thanks :)

    • +1

No - only one person flying needs to be a member. You have to use their login to book.

Not worth going to the USA right now. Things are not as cheap as they used to be. Some of the stuff in Australia is actually cheaper.

  • Does a return flight to the USA (NYC) ever get cheap in October?

Kicking myself for not booking at $1300 and now stuck with $1800 minimum.

  • October is generally still low season, its more about a lack of competition right now than seasonality. You could still get lucky but its quite close now, so maybe not

"Found by Cheap Flight Hunter(cheapflighthunter.com.au) sign up for deals like this sent straight to your inbox. It's free"…. Sounds like spam commercial

    • +3

I don't spam anyone, I just send out deals that I feel are good enough to send out, but thank you for your helpful feedback :)

  • So is there a way of searching for club jetstar flights before signing up to club jetstar? I am wanting to book just Honolulu to Melbourne in May next year.

    • +2

I think it shows them anyway you just cant book them - but I'm not 100% sure

Jetstar have dropped a lot of routes from Bris & GC

  • Just back from a trip where I should have used 2 Jetstar Boeing 787 Dreamliners.
1st was cancelled due to covid fears, got to fly in a patched Boeing 737MAX but am still alive!
Return trip was in a faulty Dreamliner. The APU generator shut down during boarding, Engineers were unable to repair it. But after nearly 2 hours of mucking around the faulty plane was used anyway with an option to disembark and wait a few days. Chose to risk my life again and survived.
Anybody here has a preference to what Boeing calls Scairbus?
