Seeing all giveaway games from October are Xbox One titles, there will be no more permanent games added to your library anymore right (like current 360 games)?
Based on current arrangements, yes.

Exactly what he said. 360 games are being removed from the service, MS allow these to be kept even after your subscription (Gold/GP) expires. That was a change in their policy.
However, Xbox One titles aren't playable when your subscription lapses.

This has nothing to do with Game Pass….
You lost NBA 2k22 because 2k23 is about to come out and 2k want people spending money on that. It would have been the exact deal they had with MS, same as every past NBA2k game that has been on gamepass (2k20 and 2k21).
Portal 2 not available for free yet; all the others are, anyone else have this issue?
Yeah still no joy with Portal 2. Might be a case of waiting a bit longer for it to be the 16th in some part of the US?
