The laptop in example picture is browsing OZBARGAIN!!!

    • Logitech loves us so.

Methinks it's a little Easter Egg that the guys at Catch must've put in.

The original stock picture at Logitech shows the laptop browsing the Logitech website.

        COTD trying to catch ozbargainers
Is that even ozbargain website in the picture?

        • +2

It doesn't look like the OzBargain site.

        • Is it the forum section?

        • similar lol

    • +2

Close but no cigar. Same colours different site.

I'm pretty sure I saw these at my local Big W (Watergardens) for $28.50.
There were at least 5 of them yesterday.

    • It was probably this fan cooler http://www.bigw.com.au/electronics/computers-office/computer… - the N100, rather than the multitouch touchpad eqipped N600 this deal refers to.

Did some looking around and found a photo on Logitech's Facebook site posted a few days back.
        Reuploaded it onto ImageShack.

Good find :) - is that shot taken at the watergardens Big W or is this a super special at all Big W stores?

        • +3

Probably one of those "all store" sales.
I didn't take that photo so unfortunately I don't know where it came from but as mentioned before, there are (or were) some at the Watergardens store yesterday. :\

Even more interesting is that the standard shelf tag shows $68 and the super special tag shows the standard price at $38 with the bargain price at $28.50. But it does specify the N600 as best I can see on the tag.

Thanks for the info re the all stores sale

Thanks for this. I just got one for $28.50 at BigW. There was no price listed but it scanned fine. I didn't realise that it is wireless with a unifying receiver. It can be used with a HTPC. Good for the price.

        • damn, i just left Big W and would have bought this had i have known :(
          next time.

Just picked up a N600 from BigW at QV Melbourne for $28.50. Unfortunately my dog ate the USB dongle before I had a chance to test the trackpad. Might be able to give it a go tomorrow, depending on how things pass.

        • One of the few times I can write lol and actually mean it. You couldn't pay me enough money to retrieve it though.

Cheap but not so good if you are left handed and you want to use it like a drawing tablet

    • Definitely bad design for lefties

    • Actually, if you turn it around then adjust the scroll direction maybe you could use it upside down :-)
(No we haven't tested this ourselves)

OfficeWorks has it own brand for ~ $14 (many colors)

LogicTech has a portable version of its Lap Desk ~ $35
as well as the "deal" one at ~ $50

    So, this -isn't- much of a deal…

M8 - I could not find an online seller of Logitech gear under Logic Tech so I assume you meant the Logitech Shop Australia. This deal is for the fancy M600 which the Logitech shop does not seem to have on it's site - the only things at ~$35 is the N315 which does not include the multitouch touchpad just a simple mousepad or the N550 with speakers and no touchpad.

I do feel it is courteous to only put down a deal only when you compare apples with apples.

Perhaps you can give us all the URL for this N600 deal at ~$50 and I will happily apologise for my above comments

    • N100 = lapdesk with cooling fan
N200 = lapdesk with cooling fan updated version from N100
N315 = lapdesk with slide out mouse tray ie space to put a normal mouse
N550 = lapdesk with speakers built in for up to 15" laptops
N600 = lapdesk with slide out touchpad
N700 = lapdesk with speakers buitl in & cooling fan for up to 16" (or 17" at a stretch) laptops

This is one of those items that I didn't know existed, but really really need… suddenly.

It's US$38.08 on Amazon. It's a pity they don't ship it to AU.
Interesting to note: US RRP is US$69.99 and Australian RRP is A$99.95

    • I suspect that P&P from Amazon would put that $39 up to noticeably more than the deal from COTD
