  • Never tried this. How does this compare to the Nongshim Shin Ramyun? Do these taste totally different ?

    • Very different, far less flavour and needs an acquired taste - personally I didn't like it.

  • +2

Taste is subjective, so if you haven't tried it before - I strongly suggest to start with one pack.

Personally I didn't like the flavour, even though I'm pretty ok with real Kimchi. Spice is only a fraction of the more popular spicy Ramyn.

I ended up using the noodles with other seasonings.

Yeah this kimchi one is trash, instead of

    Regular Shin Ramyun + kimchi

which is what you'd expect, you get

Regular Shin Ramyun + kimchi - flavour - spice

Go out and buy a tub of kimchi from your local Asian grocer and add that to your regular Shin Ramyun instead, it's miles better.

    • Going to try kimchi for first time. Are the Woolworth’s one inferior to asian grocers one. Any recommendations on which one to get?

  • +2

Real kimchi is healthy, get into it..
Agree, just get the normal Shin ramen $3.95 Coles.

Same sentiment as others. Tried this and didn't really liked it. A combo of Shin Ramyun and real Kimchi is tons better.
