Was fun while it lasted with Hiver - will close account in October once final cashback comes through.
Even cdc has dropped their rates significantly. The white card (requiring you to stake 50k) is only 3% now, green 2% and ruby 1%. And with the removal of subscription rebates on the green and lower, I’m not sure it’s even worth keeping over cashing out.
IMO, no point cashing out until the next bull run.
Agree with Shadow, HSBC for everything under $100 to secure 2% then other stuff like council rates/bills (through auspost) etc use CDC.

I wont do it on the last day as someone mentioned in the deal post that it needs to be settled by 5pm on that day. Coles usually settles the purchases in one day, before 3pm.
My purchase on the 31st, settled on the 1st was not included in the August cashback. Thus, I think a purchase made on the 7th, settling on the 8th is not eligible for cashback, unless it is still eligible via EFTPOS and you choose it on the 7th before 5pm.
Massively disappointed they cut it completely for existing members. 2% would have been nice for a while longer.

If closing Your Hiver account, don’t forget to provide a bsb and account number of another bank so you can receive the $10 “member share” Hiver gave you when opening the account :)
You can close your account through the app: click the 3 lines to bring up the menu, then select ‘Contact and support’, then ‘in app message’, then ‘new’ , then select category ‘resign my membership’
I did this 3 days ago and I haven’t heard back from them that the $10 has been refunded back to new account.
Where do you provide bank details for that?

When I opened my Hiver account there were two initial transactions. First was a $10 debit for Shares, second was a $10 credit as a welcome bonus.
Will I still be able to cash out my $10 share?
I just closed my account and they put my $10 share into an account of my choosing

I was late to the Hiver party… only did one month of cash back… but can someone confirm cashback on the woolies gift cards? I wont know until the 5th if I got the rebate on the last lot. Thinking of grabbing a decent balance of gift cards before the deal expires.
Wont even have come close to maxing out the supposed $250 limit on the rebate. Hope others did!
Yes you'll get the bonus on giftcards if purchasing through the Woolworths gift card site (or in store)

Hi all.
Just closed my account as I was never going to use the card again without the 5%. Totally forgot about the welcome bonus/share that they issued and when I requested to close the account they asked for my BSB and Account number for a different bank to pay the share into. Just received my $10, so might be beneficial to close the account if you weren't planning on doing so!
Just got my final cashback - $62.37
Final haul of $232.55 so not far off the maximum.
Time to close account
They will reinstate the 5% once all the Ozbargainers jump ship.
